So convenient and functional!

Such an upgrade from my previous trash experience. I didn't realize how grateful I'd be for not having a liner to deal with. And the convenience of the liner pocket feels so luxurious. The lid also opens quickly and responsively, but closes slowly and quietly so it's all around just perfect. I added the compost caddy and it all fits perfectly and stylishly with my stainless steel kitchen.

Best Trash can

This trash can looks great and add an elegance to your kitchen. Having a space for trash bags in the back is genius. I had the previous Simplehuman butterfly trash can for a long time and this is a great upgrade to an already good product.

After I tore the second and third bags trying to get them out the way they suggested, I went to my old method. Take out 4 or 5 bags, put them on the bottom of the can, then put the current bag on the holder. When that one is full, remove it, take one from the bottom and put it on the holder. Once a month, replenish the stockpile. It ain't brain surgery. My only other comment is the ease at which it dents. My wife's daughter, dropped a spoon and it is marked for life. Perhaps a plastic cover? Make it easy to clean and prevent dents, dings and scars.
On the plus side, the bags open easily and are much larger than the "standard" of the industry. I don't know it they are as strong, I suspect not, given the ease with which I tore through two of the first three, just getting them out of the holder.
I guess I am just a simple human after all.

I THINK IT WOULD BE HELPFUL TO HAVE HANDLES ON THE SIDES TO MOVE THE CAN EASIER. I'M WORRIED THAT, OVER TIME, PUTTING THE CAN LID IN A LOCKED POSITION TO TAKE OUT THE FULL BAG WILL DAMAGE THE SOFT CLOSE MECHANISM.
