Beautiful, elegant, and functional

Yes, it's an expensive trashcan, but I think it's worth it. Not only does it look great in our kitchen, but the step mechanism is very high-quality. I love that the spare liners are kept in the back compartment of the trashcan, and simplehuman's liners fit the space so well. It's great that the entire can is used for the trash bag and that there isn't the extra interior plastic piece that you find on a lot of other trashcans.

Heavy duty non sliding step can with huge volume that lasts all week with its extra large reasonably priced bags. Downside is that the lid hits the island countertop when you step to open it.

My son kept telling me how much he hated our kitchen step can and told me about Simple Human. I was a little skeptical when I saw the price but ... whoa! He was right! I absolutely love this can!!! I am so thrilled that I went with the larger 55L - It literally holds so much garbage and the liners are very durable. I am forever sold on the can AND the liners!!!!

While there was nothing wrong with my eight year old simple human kitchen trash can I decided it was time to upgrade to something prettier. If I can’t have a cabinet pull out trash I want something I enjoy looking at. The white stainless is so nice! I love the sleek profile. I also love that it doesn’t scratch or scuff up my wall like my old one would occasionally. It stays put and I LOVE the liner pocket. I have zero complaints. This is trash perfected.
