Great Trash Can
on October 28, 2026
Posted by: Andrea B.
This garbage can is sized just right for my kitchen. It's shallow enough that it doesn't stick out too far from the wall. It's tall enough that I don't have to bend down awkwardly if I'm doing something more than throwing something in or when I'm changing the bag. The stainless steel finish looks sleek but doesn't draw a lot of attention - which the trash shouldn't. The step pedal works well, and I like that it's as wide as the can - I can step from the side, too.

I have to say this is worth every cent. No odor, sturdy, and trash bags are stronger than other brands. We are thrilled. Can't smell the trash can anymore!

Clean, neat, functional 45L Step Can

I expected the best from SimpleHuman, so I finally ordered one a step can… it’s only been 1 month, but so far no regrets for this investment. The true test will be when the house full of family will use it.

Liner pocket is meh

I like the trash can, however I wish the liner container was removable. We don’t use it because we buy bulk bags, so it’s bulky and unhelpful.
