I'm in love with my trash can

Okay, first off, I NEVER take the time to write reviews, and secondly, I didn't know it was possible, but I'm actually in love with my trash can! No seriously, it's literally my favorite "appliance" in my kitchen now. The design is ingenious and beautiful, I love that the bags fit so perfectly, auto dispense, and adore that the bag itself is hidden. That feature is perfect for neat/design freaks as myself, and as a plus, hides the edge of the bag from my dogs so they can't pull the trash out. It's beautiful, works so well, and fits a TON of trash. Whereas we used to take out the trash almost daily, sometimes twice if it was a day I cooked, we are going sometimes a week without taking the trash out. My partner and I used to complain over taking the trash out, and now the experience is so enjoyable, we both try to take it out! If you're on the fence, the price tag is worth every single cent, but be warned, once you go with simplehuman trash cans, you may never go back!

Truly a beautiful trash can...well designed and solid...has heft but is not too heavy for this 63 year old 5’3” woman to shift around...get the matching trash bags...you won’t be sorry.

Fits perfectly in my kitchen, I love the way this step can hides the garbage bag. The rectangle shape fills the bag up nicely.

I love our simplehumans . We have three. We have had one for over 10 years. Our new ones are so pretty they accent our room. Who would ever think a trashcan could accent a room. Durable and sturdy. Best product out there!

We love this trash can!! This trash can is the perfect size, looks great in the kitchen, and silent when opening. The foot pedal feels sturdy but not difficult to open, even with large feet. We will definitely be recommending this trash can to all our friends and family!
