Wish I had ordered sooner!

I don’t ever remember being excited about a trash can but we had a Simple Human round step can for kitchen that was too small and upgraded to this can and now take it out 1-2 times a week! We are loving the look and the bags being stored in the back of the can so they pull thru an opening. It fits perfectly at the end of my island and just tonight friends were over, noticed it and started looking online to find one for themselves. We got ours because last year we visited friends who have same can and loved it.

We’ve had many Simple Human trash cans, but this one has been the best overall. I’ve tried the one that opens when you say Open Can, but that one didn’t last 6 months before it wore out. This can is perfectly sleek, does the job, and looks great in our kitchen! I highly recommend.

A Most Excellent Receptacle...

This is my second can from Simplehuman and I am happy for the changes. I had the first iteration of this particular can and although nice, this new one addresses the annoying issues the other had.
I do wish this new one had a small tab (or something) so that I could easily open the top with just a finger and not use the step. I figure the less I step the longer it will last. It would also be neat if the top lid was instead a double door that would open inside of itself...that way one could place this container under a table or shelf, more out of the way.
I give four stars because the design could be smarter, smaller and less intrusive. This is a bulky can to some degree. But again, 1st World problems, eh?
