I just received a replacement can for my first can which stopped working about a year after I bought it. I've had the new can for two weeks. This can has brand new batteries and it too doesn't work. I have to open it manually. No more simplehuman cans for me!

Love our trash can!

We have owned a sensor trash can for nearly five years and have loved it. We had a few issues after the first year that were fixed. Recently, we again had a problem with lid wanting to stay open. No problem, simplehuman was still on top of things and replaced the can. Can't say strongly enough the support they provide for their products and the friendly service. Love the product and the company!

Love the Sensor Can. Ordered 1st one 11/25/2016 This is a replacement Sensor Can under their 5 year warranty. Light went out on the Lid. simplehuman stands behind their products. thank you
