I thought the lid sensor

I thought the lid sensor was supposed to adjust its sensitivity but this isn’t happening and sometimes I have my hand fairly close to the sensor and it doesn’t open. I love the simple human products but this was a expensive gimmick, disappointing to say the least.

This model is even quieter than my last sensor can! I thought that creating a bag holder inside the can was brilliant. Unfortunately, removing a full bag of trash sometimes gets caught and can rip the bag. However, I still highly recommend this can.

I have tried a few sensor cans and have come to expect that if I pass by them, they are likely to open. Same here. Some, however, open when I am speaking to others. So, I like that I don’t have that problem with this one.
It’s a huge plus to have the supply bag holder in the can. I also love that the surface is durable. I have a rose-colored can of a different size that can’t stand up to a good cleaning. This one is fine so far.
Also, the size is comfortable. It looks beautiful in my kitchen and it makes a subtle statement of elegance rather than a big jarring one. Having the choice of either using batteries or the outlet makes it perfect for any location. I bought 2. One for each side of a large kitchen island.

Can scratched in few places
