Not compatible with Galaxy 22 ultra

this is not compatible with the galaxy 22 ultra but they market it like it will. it will not charge on this cradle. in addition the ir detector doesn't seem to work.

i purchased this charger and was excited to install and use it, it worked ok for the first couple of days, and then kept disconnecting from my phone with red blinking led. i have the samsung case for my phone, even when removed, i still had the same issue. maybe better with a fold.

It broke my car vent

it broke the vent of my ford explorer on the first use. the vent mount i'd been using previously didn't damage it but this one did.
i managed to successfully install it on another vent (being extra careful to not break it), but the phone is very flimsy, because i can't tighten it... because the vent will break.

Sporadic charging

the unit continually cycles between charging and not charging. this is with a samsung galaxy s22+. i have tried reseating it in the charger, clearing the cache, ]and just about everything else, i can think of. my phone has lost the percentage of charge when attached to the unit. what is strange is that sometimes, and it is a rarity, it works as it was designed or at least advertised to do.
i would not recommend the item until it has the bugs worked out.

Very BAD

wanted to use the genuine accessories for my new fold 4 but this mount is really bad. dropped my phone for the 1st time since it opened even without touching the button. also it is not charging the phone.

Didn't love it

i really wanted to love it, but due to design flaw it doesn't hold my phone well. i tried using it for about 1 week, but could not keep having my phone fall out while in portrait mode. i own a galaxy fold 4 and the mount doesn't hold the phone secure enough in the portrait position. i thought it was because of the size of the fold 4, so i tried with my wife's flip 4 and the phone just slid out too easily. i thought i was going to have will to accept it due limited alternatives for my fold, but i was surprised that another manufacturer held my fold 4 much better. i felt this one offered better feaures, but in the end it is useless to me if it can't secure my phone on portrait mode. in landscape mode it did better, but i can i can't risk my phone falling out. i sadly had to return it.

the most solid car charger i've ever owned. i wish it charged faster and i had to tinker with it to fit my vent but it fits a flagship or foldable perfectly. 👍
