Great Camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All in all it's a great phone with an amazing array of cameras the only drawback is it doesn't take an SD card or have any expandable memory that they don't want you to PAY FOR IN THE CLOUD. Otherwise great phone plenty of convenient features and apps including Bixby as well as use of Samsung AI to make your use faster and more efficient.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Galaxy A36 5g. I mostly use it to stream my shows and it works beautifully. I also make phone calls and send texts. Ovviously. Sometimes i use AI to help me with research. I checked my emails and fb, but most of all I watch my shows and movies on netflix.

A downgrade from my old phone
on July 28, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Layout is not very intuitive, but I'm slowly getting used to it. Swype for texting is very inaccurate and there seems to be no way to calibrate the keyboard. Some of the results are hilarious at least, if inexplicable. Oh, and capitalization is utterly random. Voice to text is likewise iffy; punctuation is whatever it feels like that day. Speakers are good enough. Takes nice photos, needs a gesture entry for camera and flashlight. Extended unlock works sometimes. I don't use Galaxy AI. A bit too big and heavy without a concurrent increase in functionality. If the phone hadn't been free, I wouldn't have it. After all the rave reviews of Galaxy phones I'd heard, I have been disappointed by this model.

Affordable and goof quality
on July 29, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive always been a Samsung Ultra person for over 10 years now. This year I was forced to buy the samsung A36 due to finances. I never understood the difference between the models of phones. It was finally explained to me and all Samsung A series are a more affordable option than their Ultras or S models. Since the phones are affordable, I feared the quality wouldnt be great. I was wrong. The phone has lots of storage, the screen is a bit bigger than my Ultra 22, and it has 3 cameras like me Ultra 22. The processor is also better than expected and I learned the processor is important because it manages how fast or slow the phone can move between tasks you might be doing on your phone. I owned the Samsung A15 and if I had a lot of applications open the slow will be unbearable slow. The A36 has only went slow on my once and it was when I was trying to record and received a message at the same time. I also like that this phone does come with the Galaxy AI installed on the phone and in your Google Chrome brower. However, the most thing I appreciate is that you are for forced to use the Galaxy AI. It is your option whetjer to enable it. Overall, the phone is good quality for being the affordable option.
