Laggy, no SD card support, low performance.

Extreme lag on every task, compared to the A35 feels way inferior performance wise. Misleading information, it doesn't says thay it doesn't support SD cards anywhere, compared to the previous models.

A35 5G untrustworthy battery hog

You enable "cross device services" without my knowledge?! I just want a phone. I do not want a Samsung privacy-invading surveillance device. The battery tests at 101% of rated capacity but drains inordinately fast. I am constantly having to review ALL settings in my fight to maintain privacy and try to make the battery drain more slowly. I can't use the stock camera because of obligatory privacy-invading settings. And I will not sign in to my Samsung account on this phone. This A36 5G is far from trustworthy and far from efficient. Samsung should be ashamed of themselves. I have never been more sorry that I purchased a phone.

UNACCEPTABLE

The camera does not work at all without permission to access nearby devices! That is extremely creepy. This is MY phone! I have had nothing but trouble with this A36 5G unlocked and I could not be more sorry that I bought it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for sharing your experience with your Galaxy A36 5G. If you are prompted to grant permission to use your camera from the Samsung-installed camera app rather than a third-party app, try resetting your camera settings.
To do this, open the Camera app and tap on the Settings icon. Swipe to find and select “Reset settings,” then tap “Reset.” This will restore the Camera app to its default settings, which may help resolve any errors you’re encountering.
Next, tap the Settings icon again, swipe to find “About Camera,” and check if any updates are available. If an update is available, tap “Update.” If there are no updates, you’ll see a message stating, “The latest version is already installed.”

System app battery drain extreme & unstoppable

Samsung Location SDK constantly checks location in the foreground & background, constantly spies on network connections and is unstoppable. Runs at startup, no permissions denied, not configurable by the user. Samsung Location SDK is a system app. It drains the battery very quickly. Do not buy thus phone. It is a privacy nightmare and a power hog.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

One UI 7 issue

One UI 7 download/install will cause your A36 5G to constantly check location and drain your already poorly-performing new battery even faster.
