It has everything I want in a phone, and more.

An Amazing Phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone is by far the best option when looking for a product that says definitely more bang for your buck! Especially with the added Samsung's AI Bixby always at the ready to assist with all things Galaxy A36. And there is a lot of Samsung Galaxy packed into this phone to become acquainted with.
The absolute first is their Care+ Insurance which I immediately purchased thankfully. Insurance wasn't offered at the point of sale where purchased .
I'm still getting pleasantly surprised by all the features that are part of my A36.
I already have the Samsung 50 inch Crystal Flat Screen and I'm spoiled so it was a no brainer when I was looking to finally being able to upgrade my phone for a deal to good to be true.

No more expandable sd card slot..no more samsung.

While this was a great phone. My old version had a micro sd slot. I see Samsung removed the micro sd card slot. I need expandable storage. No I do not want my photos etc on a cloud. I will be finding another another brand going forward.

It works, but camera seems bottom of the barrel. It has fewer pixels and poorer picture quality than the A32 I replaced. Wish I'd bought something else.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Battery not as advertised

I have the screen dimmed way down and I am keeping most of my apps in deep sleep. The battery history indicates my apps are using very little power. I've done everything I can to degrade the experience and use less power and this battery is not acceptable. My 2+ year old A23 5G works better. The battery is everything regardless of any other good features. I am very disappointed in my purchase of this A36 5G phone. I expected more from Samsung.
