Not what I expected

I purchased almost a month ago and it's not what I expected. I thought it would at least be comparable with the 2022 version a the most g I had before. I have people saying I sound muffled in phone calls, it freezes up when trying to access apps and when making calls it doesn't complete the numbers when trying to dial

Easy set up, great features!

I love this phone! I really love being able to use my finger to sign in. Pictures are really good and it’s just plain easy to use especially for a 74 year old woman. This is my 2nd Motorola G. My husband accidentally dropped the phone and the glass shattered. It did not have a case on it so this time it has a case. This was an easy set up. The only that was able to fix is it didn’t take all the contacts over to the new phone. I had kept the old phone just in case. I believe it was the old phone that caused the issue.

I purchased this new Motorola Moto G for a coworker. So far they are happy with it. They like how the screen/graphics when playing games are better than the iPhone. They also like not having to charge it every day.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nothing but Glitches

Long time Motorola user, mostly lower mid tier phones, Moto G's. My last phone was the 5 G Ace which was a great phone, but I had iss5with the charger so this past December I purchased 2 Moto g powers 2025s. Nice looking phones, but shortly after purchasing it's nothing but glitches. Shake light doesn't always work, finger print scanner doesn't work often. Laggy and slow. That's just my phone, my wife although she has not complained about hers, has issues with the volume going crazy loud. I said something to my son who has the 24 edition says his acts very similar to mine. Frustrating! I know it's not a top tier phone, but come on. Lol phone locked up while typing this
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Impressive Feature Set

I have used a wide range of devices in the past few years. My main device was an iPhone 11 Pro and I briefly switched to a cheap obamaphone before choosing the Mogo G 25 recently on sale. The Moto G is not a slow device - I would know what slow feels like coming from a state phone, but the Moto is about the same speed as the 11 Pro when you use ram boost for most tasks. The screen is great you can't tell it's 720p the pixel density is so sharp, the refresh rate is really smooth, colors are vibrant like an IPS. Battery is a champ I don't even need to worry about charging it but once every night. Grippy phone that doesn't slip out of your hand and the camera is very good in daylight. Good speakers, fingerprint sensor is better than face unlock. The features for the price are impressive and if you get it on sale even better. Best part is sd slot and headphone jack of course for us old school android users. I don't miss my iPhone at all I think I like using the Moto even though the iPhone had a better camera.

Frustrating to set up but OK now.

Not sure if the issue was my internet connection or not, but I had a struggle connecting to wi-fi and maintaining the connection the first few days.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Phone wasn't able to connect to network at home so texts and calls were not coming in or out, had to reboot Everytime to update, tedious and costly . Voicemail app that comes with phone is also a tedious effort, have to choose dial up to access messages which are read back slowly announcing callers phone #, then messages, to hear 10 messages took 20 minutes at times.
