A good phone. But confused if it's water proof

This is actually a nice phone but I keep wondering is it water proof?

To clarify, this model features IP54 protection with advanced nano-coating technology, which creates a water-repellent barrier to help protect against moderate exposure to water, such as accidental spills, splashes, or light rain. Please note that the phone is not designed to be submerged in water or exposed to pressurized liquids, so it is not waterproof. Using it carefully around water will help keep it safe while still enjoying its features. I've had this for a week now. It is the 3rd one I have bought. Only problem I've had out of these phones is there so nice people want to steel them.

Got moto. G 2023 and first thing to happen was glass cracked across and up the left side it's still usable and I like a lot of the features of the phone just wish it hadn't cracked the screen never dropped it or nothing have protected rubber case everything but still cracked

Im so glad I stayed with Motorola phones, i had the moto 5g 2024 which was Good, smooth and It hardly ever froze up on me butt up 2025 model is even smoother.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Infuriating disappointment.

I already hate this phone, and I bought it yesterday. It will not work with scrcpy, unlike the Moto G Stylus 5G that I was using before. I rely on that for my pc for internet access because it means I do not have to pay for a separate wifi service in my home, and buy antivirus software for my pc, as it is not directly connected to the internet, and just functions as a second screen for the phone. It will not work with any screen mirroring apps. It will not work with a usb-c-to-hdmi cable. The wifi hotspot function randomly cuts off for several seconds about every few minutes or so. The home screen does not rotate without an app to force it. It will not work with live wallpaper apps. The screen recorder that's built into the phone from the factory will not record device audio, even though I have specifically set it to do so. Why couldn't you just make it have all of the functionality that the Moto G Stylus 2022 had? It's ridiculous. I hate this phone, and if I had the money I would immediately go get a different one.
