Im so glad I stayed with Motorola phones, i had the moto 5g 2024 which was Good, smooth and It hardly ever froze up on me butt up 2025 model is even smoother.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Infuriating disappointment.

I already hate this phone, and I bought it yesterday. It will not work with scrcpy, unlike the Moto G Stylus 5G that I was using before. I rely on that for my pc for internet access because it means I do not have to pay for a separate wifi service in my home, and buy antivirus software for my pc, as it is not directly connected to the internet, and just functions as a second screen for the phone. It will not work with any screen mirroring apps. It will not work with a usb-c-to-hdmi cable. The wifi hotspot function randomly cuts off for several seconds about every few minutes or so. The home screen does not rotate without an app to force it. It will not work with live wallpaper apps. The screen recorder that's built into the phone from the factory will not record device audio, even though I have specifically set it to do so. Why couldn't you just make it have all of the functionality that the Moto G Stylus 2022 had? It's ridiculous. I hate this phone, and if I had the money I would immediately go get a different one.

Horrible phone

I bought this phone September 4 2025. It was working fine until October 18 2025. Not even 2 months and the phone will no longer charge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I HAVE HAD THIS PHONE SINCE JULY. I HAVE HAD ISSUES. APPS HAVE BEEN CRASHING OR OPENING RANDOMLY. I UPGRADED FROM THE SAMSUNG GALAXY STELLAR 4G LTE. THIS PHONE SUCKS. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE! IF I COULD GIVE IT 0 STARS, I WOULD. MOTOROLA IS RIPPING YOU OFF

WORST PHONE I'VE EVER USED.

This is the absolute WORST phone I have EVER had!!! I've never had such bad issues with a phone lagging, kicking me out of tabs (especially while tying out a text), and not loading screens properly. The touch doesn't go all the way to the edge of the screen so you struggle rewinding videos at all and it will start playing audio from videos you've closed out of when the screen is turned off!! HORRIBLE. I've wanted to throw this phone out of my moving car window.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I dropped this thing about a week after getting it and the screen's already broken at the top, it's way too big for my pockets and wants to fall out, but it was cheap. Every phone now is way too big for my pockets.
I quickly gave up on figuring out how to deal with connecting an Android phone most of the stuff in my life that's in the Apple ecosystem and it mostly just lives in my bag providing internet for my iPad Mini so I can read books and stuff. It's working fine for that. Gives me much faster hotspot connections than the iPhone 6S it replaced.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
