Robot vac that actually does what it's supposed to

Over a decade ago I got my first cleaning bot. A Mint hard floor cleaner. Great idea but in practice it regularly missed areas or whole rooms, needed regular maintenance, and broke down often. For a while it seems like robo vacs just couldn't live up to their promise. Happy to say the Roborock S7 MaxV does.
After setting it up (which could be made a little easier - my only complaint) it simply works. Schedule cleanings in the app, dump the dirty water and top off the clean every so often and your floors stay clean. I have mostly wood and tile floors, and the mop does a great job cleaning both. It also seamlessly switches to carpet vac mode when it goes only area rugs. The avoidance system works as it should with any items left on the floor. And, it's able to get under nearly all the furniture in the house - so no hidden dust bunnies. The app is also easy to use and provides loads of useful features. Overall the whole system is better than I expected.
