I absolutley LOVE this machine!! My entire house is vinyl planking and since I bought this machine a few weeks ago I havent had to use my regular vacuum OR my mop. We have 3 dogs and it does an excellent job at picking up all the hair on the hardwood floors but I was actually super disappointed to see it did not do well getting the hair off the area rugs. After searching online I found other people had the same problem because the roller just has the rubber and no bristles. Someone recommended getting the main roller for the Q5 machine because it has the bristles and it fits the S7 Max Ultra. I am beyond thrilled to say that it worked! Even tho I had to buy a different roller for my needs I still give this a solid 5 star. Its so nice to be able to have it clean just a specific room or even a specific area instead of having to do a whole house cleaning. Its life changing lol

I love this Robot vacuum/mop. Doing chores as I get older is annoying and tiresome. Now I do the dusting and whipping, and this robot does the vacuuming and mopping; I LOVE IT! Now make one that dust now 😆

Don’t hesitate, JUST BUY!

We’ve had our S7 maxV ultra for about a month or so now. We absolutely love it! She is precise with cleaning. Remembers to clean an area she may have missed, knows when she is on carpet to have a higher suction power, avoids walls and objects very well; amongst a myriad of other things! Her mopping is very great and does clean the floors. I love the self clean brush on the dock to clean the mop pad too! We have a dog and a cat and our house stays spotless using her.

Forget about cleaning in 4-day cycles

I got my roborock S7 Max Ultra for a week. I'm sharing several noticeable points in terms of the experience compared to irobot Roomba j7+.
- Navigation&Mapping: Roborock S7 Max Ultra > Roomba j7+, e.g., roborock builds the map in 10 mins, while Roomba j7+ takes at least one hour.
- General Obstacle avoidance: Roborock S7 Max Ultra > Roomba j7+.
- Wire avoidance: Roomba j7+ > Roborock S7 Max Ultra. Although the wire avoidance performance of Roomba j7+ is not satisfactory, Roborock S7 Max Ultra will chew all your wires, shown in the Figure below. In short, set your no go-to zone or clean your wires in advance.
- Self-cleaning: Clean dock so far.
- Self-drying: Always dry after 3 hours.
- Mopping: Satisfactory.
- Noise: I generally use it when I'm outside.
- Carpet cleaning: Satisfactory. It won't wet high-pile carpet, shown in the Figure below.
- Hair cleaning: Good. Need to clean your main brush regularly.
- Water tank size: Somehow smaller than I expected. I need to clean and refill it per 3-4 days. I know we can choose automatically draining & refilling version in China (G10 pure), why not here?

What Took Me So Long to Buy This?? It's not a five star, it's a TEN STAR

My wife and I came to the conclusion we needed this product. And OH BROTHER, did we need it and didn't know it. After the third time we did a full clean and understanding of what where and when of the house we stared at each other because within 1 year, in spite of its whooping cost, in our mind's eye, the personal time it is saving us is paying for it. Our house is entirely hardwood and tile. There are no longer dirty socks that won't clean in the washer. The floors all shine like new. There's is one funny OOppss. The other day, we had the power go out in the neighborhood and I was in the area near the front door where the home docking station sits. Suddenly there was the S7 cleaning the front door entry, but its schedule wasn't for several days. I touched the pause button and then hit the Docking button. When it went to the approximate area it couldn't find the dock because the power was off. If someone could email me, I'd be willing to work with someone, because the loss of power should not have set off the cleaning process.

This is my second Roborock. I have had mine for over a year and this year I bought one for my dad. He’s getting up in age and this was perfect. The bacon and mop feature is great.
The only surprise I got was that I have a Roborock S7 Max V Ultra and I thought I was buying the same thing with the S7 Max Ultra (I didn’t notice that the names were actually different because they looked identical), but the S7 Max Ultra doesn’t have the camera feature. This actually works come in handy because I planned to look at the floor in his den to see how much the birds have thrown around the seed, before running it in that room a few times a day.
Other than that, it’s just wonderful
The only surprise I got was that I have a Roborock S7 Max V Ultra and I thought I was buying the same thing with the S7 Max Ultra (I didn’t notice that the names were actually different because they looked identical), but the S7 Max Ultra doesn’t have the camera feature.
