I previously had a Roomba J7+, and it had problems from day 1. I just figured that's how robots were, until I started hearing about Roborock. This... this Roborock machine is eons better in literally EVERY way to any other robot I've tried (even the other expensive ones like Roomba). Don't waste your money on some inferior robot - save your money and get a Roborock. There are no words in the English language to describe just how superior this machine is compared to everything else. It actually sucks up dirt and handles dog hair perfectly, the mapping is like something out of Star Trek, the mop is glorious and can handle all but the worst kinds of mud (things that even a human would struggle with). I love everything about this amazing machine!

I've had this a little over a year with the self emptying dock station and it is awesome! The only negative thing I can say is that I sometimes waste my time watching her because I'm mesmerized by Roxy's accuracy, The mop feature is a VERY great feature. I've tried 2 others, but they were sub-par. The app is wonderful. No complaints. BTW....I'm very picky!

After a lot of research we selected the S7 Max Ultra over the S8 Pro Ultra. This was an upgrade from a previous Roborock vacuum. Reviews indicated the S7 edged out the S8 in a couple areas that were important to us. After using the S7 for about 3-4 weeks, it does a fabulous job of mopping. I mean, really good! Set it and forget it which is perfect for us. Our previous robot mopped, but required a lot of attention.
We have a number of dogs. All of which shed. The vacuum does great keeping pet hair up off the hardwood floors. We never see anything. Carpets are about equal to the previous vacuum. It's keeping the pet hair at bay, but weekly vacuuming with our upright vacuum is still required. It would be a lot worse without the Roborock, but we still haven't hit that perfect spot where our regular vacuum gathers dust in the closet.
I do believe the navigation has been much improved since our previous vacuum and I can't say enough good things about that. The mapping and room separation via app is still difficult, but if you work at it, you can get a good map and divide up the floor into separate rooms. It's just clunky to say the least. All in all, this was an excellent purchase with no regrets.

My daughter was obsessed with hers and now I'm obsessed with mine! I recommend it to anyone I know with a lot of flooring surface. Wonderful for hardwoods even when it has to transition to carpeted areas

Only been using for a few weeks, but I am impressed with the thoroughness with which the S7 Max Ultra maps and cleans and mops my floor. With 3 dogs, the ability to mop everyday is amazing! Saves me time and makes it easier to prepare for company or do things I'd rather be doing more than cleaning 😊.
