A wonderful robot!

I purchased this device for my parents. The Roborock S7 MaxV is the new, and improved, version of the Roborock S6 MaxV. And the suction is more powerful. Unlike other models, it can pick up fine particles trapped between floorboards and deeply embedded in your carpets.
It’s easy to setup with Roborock app. It has plenty of remarkable features, such as the video call option that allows me to contact my family members when I’m not at home.
It mops my floor wonderfully, it has one of the best mops on the market. It is equipped with the "VibraRise" feature. Not only will it effectively remove the tough stains on your floors, but it will also automatically raise its mopping plate when detecting carpets, for a smooth transition between different types of floors.
Overall, the Roborock S7 MaxV is an incredible robot vacuum and mop, with an excellent price-performance ratio.

Floors are always clean and doesn't get stuck

I'm not sure how this compares to other recent robots and other brands. My experience with robot vacuums is limited to a 5-year-old mid-price Roomba. That thing tended to be more trouble than it was worth. Constantly getting stuck on/under or tangled in things. So far with this Roborock, if there is a possible physical path to get to an area, it will find it and clean it, and without banging against things the entire time. The vacuum and mop keep our vinyl floors very clean and the auto mop lift works great on our low pile rugs. There are 4 levels to choose from Quiet, Balanced, Turbo, and Max and then a 5th option which must be manually selected for each cleaning due to high power usage: Max+. I really cannot recommend this robot highly enough. Expensive but worth every penny.

Amazing machine

Great robotic machine. The mop feature works extremely well. It raises when going over our rugs, then lowers again and mops. And does a nice job keeping the 'shine' on my non carpeted floors with the mop option. It sucks up everything on the edges, goes around chair legs, without getting hung up, levels up for area rugs, and goes back down for the hard wood floors. The feature I like the most is that it knows where it is. No more randomly searching for the charging station, or hitting the same spot on the floor multiple times vs. just once. Once your map is set, you just ask it to run from your phone. You can see where it has cleaned and where it hasn't. More or less a live shot on your phone on where it is in your home and what it's covered or not. Technology has improved from the first robot vacuum for sure. A little expensive, but this does what you would expect a good robotic cleaner to do.

Fantastic app feature

This is the best robot vacuum cleaner I've ever used, especially its app feature. Using the quick mapping feature will help you do a map in a much shorter time. With the map, you can customize different cleaning sessions, like room cleaning and zone cleaning. Since I have a big apartment, I don't want it to clean all the rooms at one time. It is time consuming. So, I use the room cleaning to have it clean those rooms used often. Also, I have some sunken areas, where the robot couldn't reach by itself. So, I set the no-go zones to prevent it from falling down. I really like this robot. It helps me a lot.

Powerful robot

It's been a delight to have the robot finally. Before the purchase decision, I have made very careful comparison between similar robots from different brands. I need to say Roborock does not let me down. After one month of using this robot, it still works like the first day it arrived. The vacuum is able to figure out exactly where it is no matter where I put it. Running S7MaxV once a day in my apartment, my ground is cleaner than they’ve ever been. I would highly recommend Roborock S7MaxV for vacuuming. How strong the suction power is, you’ll never regret.

Needs some improvement

I love have cleaning floors and this device will clean your floors well. However, I gave away my last two Roombas because there were running over things and dragging it through the house causing more work than they were worth I read the reviews for the S7 and was sold at obstacle avoidance but the obstacle avoidance fails and it’s continually stuck on something. The picture below is from a Halloween decoration that had fallen on floor

My friend has an ultra and i'm super impressed when she introduces how much it can do, so i decide to get one. I received my ultra last week, and i must say i'm crazy about it so far. Firstly, the collecting ability is great, it makes my house very clean. Besides, i love the app very much because it's easy to use for me and it has so much function, like quick mapping, routines, room cleaning x2 x3 and so on. Also, i think the dock is specially designed for lazy lady like me, lol. It can refill water, wash mop cloth, empty the robot by itself. It totally frees my hand. At last, i love the camera function very much. You can even make a video call. Amazing!
