The Garmin Forerunner 45 is very comfortable and light weight to wear. Sweat and water has not affected it and it remains looking just as good as when i bought it. Very easy to start an activity, Records everything from my bike rides to running.

My wife got the Forerunner 45S, (the S is for smaller) and absolutely loves it. Very light weight and tons of features. It works beautifully with the Garmin Connect app. She can update her activities, food and water intake so she has a good feel for her day. It has always on display that is slightly better than my Vivo Active (1st Gen-square) and I have been begging her to upgrade from an older Garmin for about 3 years. I myself got the new Venu, which is almost identical, but it has the brighter screen that comes to life with a flick of the wrist. Cool new features on both watches-

This watch has everything I need to train for upcoming races, its so lightweight and fits my small wrist! Highly recommend :)

This watch has been vital in my training for my first 50 mile race. It's durable enough for daily use and on my trail runs, but I would opt for a different model specifically designed for rugged use if you need it to hold up in particularly extreme conditions. The stats it gives me allows me to track my progress and improve my abilities, and the GPS gives me the ability to save my runs which is awesome.

This product definitely helped me when I first started running. It has a great battery life and not to complicated to use.
