Lovely Upgrade from the 220

I had a bad fall while running last year and unfortunately I broke the screen on my Forerunner 220. After a few too many races in the rain, the 220 finally stopped working so I bought this one as a Christmas present to myself. It's a great upgrade from the 220 with new features (HR, different exercise options, etc) that are useful but it's not too overwhelming. This is a great watch for someone that needs basic stats while running(exercising) with the added bonus of HR and some other features I haven't had a chance to try out. My only issue(and it may be a user error that I need to correct) is that I charge it once a week but the watch stays off unless I'm running. Somehow the battery is still losing power even when powered off, not a whole lot, but it's annoying to turn the watch on after not using it all week and see that it's only 75% charged. Not a huge deal but it's annoying. Highly recommend otherwise.

My only problem is I know I am going to buy a nicer model with more features but this has everything I need :D I just want more cool stuff. Great product if you want to improve your life, set goals, and see improvement. The sleep data and other features is simply amazing how accurate it is.

Does what I need it to do

I have had for 7 days and so far it is working well. Been on a few runs and treadmill and the data looks good. I would give a better review but the Bluetooth does seem to lose connection many times throughout the day (3-6) and it takes some time to acquire a GPS signal.

I am still learning about it, however the fact that several buttons need to be used for tracking one activity is not too practical and confusing.

I've used running watches before, but this was my first Garmin. It's only been a day, but I've been very impressed with how well it works & all the features available. I love the flexibility of having skins that I can customize the appearance with.
