Can't Live With It, Can't Live Without It

Bought as an upgrade to an FR 220. The heart rate monitor, sleep tracker, and activity tracker have greatly improved my running training and health awareness, and I almost can't live without them now. However, there are several frustrating downgrades, such as the inability to edit data screens when a workout is paused, lap average pace estimation rounding to 5 seconds, unpredictable unpairing from phone and app, spottier GPS than the old watch, and a frequently unresponsive lap button (for which Garmin did promptly replace the watch).

Great watch just one complaint

I have an iPhone 10r and it’s a newer phone. My watch keeps on disconnecting from the phone so all the great features won’t work without the phone being connected and when I’m running the phone is not near me. Other than that, love it a lot.

I bought this to mainly pace my workouts and track my distance, but I can also read texts and track my fitness and health. It’s already helped me so much with sleep and stress improvement

I cannot understand how to get to the main function screen. I read the enclosed info, logged into the app on my phone, watched 2 videos and still can’t figure it out. I’m so frustrated and will be returning it this week.

I’m very pleased with the Forerunner 45. I’m tracking my distance and pace with such ease during my runs. Watch is lightweight and comfy!
