Simple enough

I bought this watch for my first marathon training season. The features are simple and all I really need in a watch for tracking my runs. I love the color and the material. My only complaint is that it loses connectivity from my phone often and this results in having me to pair it with my phone at least once a week.

Not User Friendly

I really wanted to switch from FitBit to Garmin. I tried this watch for a month but overall I couldn't deal with the lack of user friendliness. There is no responsive touch screen. The buttons seem in the wrong place for my liking as a right handed person. I returned this watch to the store.

Awesome watch easy and simple to use

This watch I bought a couple months ago and was not dissatisfied. The watch provides everything I need to track my logistics and stats. It’s does occasionally glitch when messing with the watch face, but other than that has an amazing performance.

Replaced my Series 3 Apple Watch

I USED to own an Apple Watch, it was great except for the expense and constant screen breaking, glitches, and only touch screen option. THEN I switched to the Forerunner 45S—SUPER SIMPLE BUT FANTASTIC. Accurate on GPS, HR, Having actual buttons to get splits is awesome, pretty foolproof and easy to use. Activity Tracking is okay but may need a bit of work... seems like it’s overestimating calories burned amongst other things. Wish that it was totally waterproof, but water resistant is better than nothing! I would like more color combinations and options as well, but nonetheless a GREAT product at a SOLID price point! Keep cranking ‘em out Garmin!

I love this watch and it pairs up with my Blackberry perfectly. I can use it for my fitness and my text comes over for my personal. i love it. i hope it will last more than a year.

Simple to use--nice upgrade

I have a Garmin 630, and tired of fussing with the chest strap, so decided to try the 45. Overall, a better watch than the 630--slightly smaller, less clunky, very easy to use--but the heart rate function of the 45 seems a bit sensitive. I've found that I must wear the watch high up my wrist and cinch it quite snug, but that it then works well. GPS is quicker to find satellites and seems a tad more accurate. Very satisfied--a great day to day watch. Lots of goodies on Garmin Connect, too.

Great value in a sports watch.

I have only had the watch for a short amount of time. The features are great and easy to use.
My only complaint is the face is a little dimmer than I thought it would be. But it is legible even in the sunlight.
