Difficult to get working if intend is to only use external monitors and laptop lid closed.

Dock is okay but getting external monitors configured took me over 1 hour. Connected dock to laptop then monitors to dock and everything works. On reboot everything was blank. My intend was to only use 2 external monitors with lid closed. It finally worked after using hdmi for primary monitor and dp for secondary monitor, closing lid and rebooting. Using this with HP omen gaming laptop.
Also, not sure if this is laptop or dock problem, but with laptop lid closed, the dock cannot capture boot screen messages. For example if you enter bios setup, must open lid and use laptop display.

The dock doesn't work correctly with my laptop. The description states the dock is compatible with most HP laptops, but no list is available. My laptop is only 2 years old with a good amount of ram and a i7 processor, so I figured it would be compatible, but sadly no.

The unit would not pair with my current system. Definitely not plug and play. Video connection vis HTML to monitor was not working. Could not get microphone/speakers to adapt to my settings. Support website was down for 3 days when I tried to connect.
