This pot is awesome and is the second one I have purchased. I originally purchased the original one from several years ago and when I went to purchase more for gifts it was discontinued and I was lost. I had to wait for the new model to come out and I immediately purchased another one of the new models for myself. I now have two more grandsons getting married and plan to purchase two more for gifts for them.

Maybe a flaw

I bought it yesterday cooked chicken in it and it’s already stained. The pot won’t come clean. I’m reaching out to ninja. Maybe it’s just a flaw and hopefully they’ll replace the pan. We shall see that will change because it works good.

I've read that the temperature isn't as hot as previous version(s), the handle is too hot, etc. I only have owned and used this one and it has been fabulous. Does everything I ask of it. I'm not a chef, just a bachelor trying to eat. Stores nicely! I like the ladle storing on top. I think if you use this you won't be disappointed... My opinion.

Good but never last

I love the foodi systems but they never last more than 1 year. After 1 year of use it has problem acknowledging the pan is in it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good appliance for small families as well as large

I purchased this appliance because of the steam bake and proof feature I watched the demos on shopping networks and you tube I wanted the bake and proof feature which was not on the 6.5 qt possible cooker which I love. I have been using the 8.5 qt cooker now for a couple of weeks I bake my pizza and breads I proof as well I made homemade soup I roasted I would like to mention that we are small family This cooker is wonderful for small family as well I don't have to make enough for 20 people just my family It is smaller than the countertop oven which I donated because it was too big I would recommend to families It all depends upon how they cook/bake
