Stopped working after 2 years

Loved it for two years, both the pod and brew. Then it stopped working. This is an expensive coffee maker and it lasting only two years is a big disappointment!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Coffee Maker, Until Its Not

This Ninja Dual Brew coffee maker replaced my old Keurig that I had over 6 years. I was really excited to find something that did so much. To be honest, it sounded way too good to be true. I purchsed this coffee maker in April 4, 2024 and just this week,approximately around September 15, 2025 it stopped making coffee. It barely id lasted 1 year and a half. I watched videos online on how to "fix" the problem, but nothing worked. I go an check the warranty and it only has 1 year warranty. I assumed I didn't need to purchase the extra warranty they offer at checkout because my other brand coffee makers lasted so long that I could not believe my eyes when I pulled up the receipt to confirm the date of purchase. Prior to its death, it was the best coffee maker I have ever owned. I loved how quick it brewed, the coffee always tastes amazing. The variety of options that were available, and the fact that I could continue to puchase KCups and not some specialty type of coffee cups. Overall, I loved this coffee maker and would rave about it to everyone that listened. Now, I am regretting all of my decisions as I can't find a solution on how to make it brew the right amount of coffee. The appliance makes a sound like it is working, and when I select my 12 ounce coffee to brew, now it brews about 4 ounces. I cleaned it all out, and nothing has worked. This issue only happens when a KCup is used, when I run it without a KCup, the water comes out at almost 12 ounces. This coffee maker is fantastic, until it's not.
Overall, the quality of the product doesn't seem good, it is not build to last. Keep that in mind when selecting a product and If I could go back in time, I would have purchsed that extended warranty offered at checkout. Now I begin my search for a replacement, and I don't know if I can ever trust the Nina brand again.

The best dual brew ever

I lost my original during a house fire this past March and bought another name brand for the rental. Needless to say and bought another ninja for my new house The only thing I can say I don't like about it is I can't adjust the hot plate temperature otherwise it makes the best coffee.

This coffee tastes like water. It brews immensely quick, so it just tastes like water most of the time. Super disappointing. I used the reusable coffee pods for both and it tastes better with my old and super basic keurig.

Pod coffee maker parrot will not work. Sucks

Good coffee maker, just don't get it for the pod coffee. It will not work. We have tried every pod possible and it's a nightmare. This was the main reason we bought thise is to be able to use regular coffe or pod coffee.

They could do better

Had this for a year, switched back to Keurig. Why? There are brewing issues. First, always grounds in a full pot of coffee. I couldn’t get the balance of bold burnt tasting brew and weak coffee.. and no matter how much grounds I used, the pot always had grounds. So, I rarely used the filter and ground coffee. Second, the maker drips constantly. There’s a little slide handle to close the basket off but every time we go to brew something else we forget this is closed and it beeps loudly at us as a reminder. So much so that we’ve just stopped using the slider and constantly deal with coffee dripping everywhere. Then there’s the adapter for the k-cup pods. It works.. but the issue is the gap between the adapter and the bottom basket. So there’s always a teaspoon of whatever was last brewed in that basket.. not ideal when I drink normal coffee and my wife drinks nothing but flavored coffee. So my cups end up the lacroix of whatever she drank last unless I literally rinse both the adapter and basket between every flipping cup. It’s quite annoying. Finally, the brewer constantly seemed to get air bubbles in the system from refilling the water and I’d have to slam the unit around to work that out. For a device conceived for convenience it’s really anything but. It’s not all doom and gloom though, coffee tasted good that was brewed and the huge reservoir was nice to not have to constantly refill, I just felt between constant cleanup and rinsing it was getting old.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
