Inverter Awesome

I think this AC deserves 5 stars but I’m holding off until the remote control gets an update. It is the slowest remote, quarky and at times doesn’t respond at all to commands. I bought another GE window ac unit at the same time as this one and it’s pretty much the same as far as the remote goes.
I do think this inverter type is pretty awesome. The DB level is way way better than a conventional unit. I hope this AC lasts as long as most wall units I’ve had in the past. Typically they seem to just keep running for years with no issues no matter what brand I bought. This inverter is a game changer. Hopefully it’ll have a long life.

Quiet but flashing light disturbs sleep.

Won't be using it for a couple of months, but it does work and much quieter than my other AC. There is a flashing light inside the grill even when the power button is off. It's very bright at night. I called the Service department, but they had no idea what it was or why it was flashing. I determined it had to do with wi-fi for the unit. I am not going use the wi-fi phone app with the ac.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're glad to help you with your air conditioner. This is the status light on the internal WiFi module, and is just an indicator that the module is functioning. If the red LED indicator light is disruptive, you can place some black tape over it, if you prefer.
