I thought after using the toaster that I would love the panini press. It’s the only feature that I’m not in love with. It is not used any longer by anyone in household because it doesn’t produce the true panini crispiness.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great idea but for the price I would expect this to be more durable. The latches that hold the press closed are weak and unlatch without much effort.

definitely makes making a panini and grilled cheese so much easier but it could be a little stronger. sometimes it doesn't close and I need to force it shut and push it into the toaster.

We do suggest a max of 4 ingredients for optimal toast through and be sure not to overstuff it so that the panini press still latches and doesn't damage the toaster while lowering down. Does toast perfectly but what I love the most is the panini insert. I have used it for pastrami with provelone on pumpernickle, gruyere and chDoeddar for grilled cheese, fried egg with bacon and cheese for a breakfast sandwich. All turned out great!
