This is a great invention. My husband is in love with this item. He uses this all the time to make breakfast items, lunch items, dinner items. I am so glad I finally bought one. You can’t miss with this item.

I just bought and tried this. I don’t have a Revolution toaster. So I used it in my regular one. One thing I noticed was that the device is evidently taller than the depth of the slots in my toaster are. There was about half an inch left up top. So I turned the sandwich halfway through and that was fine.
Also, if you have a larger type bread, you’ll have to cut it. I decided on my next try to just do a half sandwich and turn it horizontal. That worked. The other thing is you can’t overstuff it. I figured I couldn’t but will stay that some of the videos were misleading in that regard.
The sandwiches look a bit squished- lol.
Overall, though, I liked it.

Crispy bread

I actually bought this a few months ago after seeing it on GMA on ABC. I thought it was a great idea, although pricey. First, you do have to smash the bread and fillings together to get it to fit into the press and latch it. I had the toaster on medium high setting. I had to reposition the sandwich and toast it again for a full medium high round of toasting. The bread was nice and crunchy and the provolone was melty. There was no mess left on the press or inside the toaster. That said, save yourself a lot of money and just buy an inexpensive brand name panini press. Or, pull out the frying pan and make your cheese sandwich on the stovetop.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Panini press is a pass

The toaster is fantastic, but not so the Panini press. I would like to send it back
The press literally holds just two pieces of bread and if you put even a small slice of cheese in it you have to squish to a cracker. Had to toast it three times to get any shade on the bread and by then it was baked solid

Panini Press Doesn't Last - Poor Latching Design

The panini press is a great idea, but the execution needs work. I've used mine approximately 15 times since purchasing it a couple weeks ago. The sandwiches heat fine, however the Press no longer works correctly. The interlocking gears on the ends do not mesh correctly anymore; when one edge of the top pierce is engaged the other edge is misaligned, so that the press won't stay closed. This is especially true after using it once, while it is still warm. Where / how should I send it to get a replacement?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
