Disappointing Product

This is my second flat iron. I don't know if the product is defective or if this is your new branding. The product came in a box without instructions for use or styling suggestions. To get the flat iron to curl my hair satisfactorily, I have to use the center; otherwise, it will not work. The tip of the flat iron appears to be loose. The tension is not the same from beginning to end of the flat iron. Additionally, my last FHI flat iron came with a heat-resistant case that I could use to transport the flat iron. This one did not come with a carrying case. Finally, I have to use a 350-degree setting. This is the reason that I ordered a new FHI so that I could less heat. Right now, I prefer my old FHI to the new one.

I got my flatiron on

I got my flatiron on Aug 31, 2023 and used it a handful of times. It quit and will not heat up. I owned one previously and was very happy with it, so i know this is not the norm. Frustrating.

Lasted a year before it went out. Warranty doesn't cover much and the cost to have them replace it is almost the same as buying a new flat iron. One and done.

Ride or Die Hair Straightener

I’m writing this review on the day of my flat irons death. I’m giving it 5 stars because this specific flat iron lasted me 14 YEARS. I got it as a high school graduation gift when I was 18, and I am now 32 years old. If that doesn’t say quality, I don’t know what does. Put it in your cart. Commit. Get the straightener.

Best Hair ever at age 47!

I’ve been utilizing this FHI Heat Platform Signature Pro Styler consistently over the last 9 years - this is the third one I’ve purchased — since 2014! The life span of this styler is phenomenal - absolutely worth every penny. After using a heat protectant, the floating plates glide easily and smoothly over my hair to give me that “moving, glassy hair” look. Working in the South with the 95° heat/77° dew point, my long, color-treated hair only gets a little frizzy, compared to turning into the dreaded knot of “frizzy-fried hay” when I used other products years ago. It’s very dependable - I’ll never switch to another product or brand.

Best hot iron I have ever had. My hairdresser recommended I get an iron with temperature control. It's works so much better than my old my, and my hair is not breaking off! Yeah!
