[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only recently started getting into sewing last year and found a new hobby that I was loving. I am always looking for new ways to challenge myself as well as always looking for new hobbies and things to do. I was so excited to get the Brother Embroidery Machine for this reason.
I am new to embroidery and did not really know where to start. I loved that this was so easy to set up and learn to use. This comes with several built in designs and fonts which made it even easier for a newbie to play around and get to know the interfaces and uses of the machine. It also has an automatic thread cutter and more that took most of the guess work out of it. My favorite part is they also offer videos to help you get going so seeing things visually worked best for me compared to just trying to read and interpret what I needed to do.
This can do so much including working with your computer. I have yet to get into all of that for designs as again I am just learning and getting into this. I can see the endless options once I do learn more and more though.

Great For Beginners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not very experienced at sewing but was interested in this machine because I now have several grandkids and my husband is a teacher and wants to put logos on his shirts. This is a nice machine for small projects. You can only use a 4x4 square on this machine, so if you need something bigger this machine isn't for you. I love that it connects to the internet and you can add more designs and update the software to keep this machine current. The touch screen is a nice feature as well as the USB which gives you the ability to add many more designs. There is an app you can download also. I am still learning this machine, and the embroidery skill, and this machine is easy to learn on. I still have much practicing to do before I am ready to do actual logos on my husband's shirts, but I will get there. YouTube has some helpful videos, but reading the manuals to get started is a good idea. I am excited to have this machine and learn a new hobby.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never used embroidery machine before so as a first time user I have to say it was a little difficult to navigate at first but once I read through all directions I figured it out. It would be great if they supplied a small starter kit to get started like threat, backing material ect but it works well and display is nice feature

Wow! Impressive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a person who does a lot of hand embroidery projects. I always have one in progress. I had never thought much about machine embroidery before I received this Brother PE545 Embroidery Machine. In fact I pretty well equated machine embroidery to initials, monograms, and small appliqués. This opened a whole new world of embroidery design to me. I have had a regular Brother sewing machine for the last eight years and been very happy with its performance. So I am not surprised at the quality of this PE545. I like that is is designed for beginner machine embroidery enthusiasts like me. It has an embroidery area of 4” x 4” which allows for a lot of variety in designs. Also the creativity is awesome since you can actually draw your own designs and upload them to the machine since it is WI-Fi enabled using an app. The machine come preloaded with 135 designs and 10 built in lettering fonts. It has a color touchscreen with helpful tips for use of the machine. It is user friendly but also comes with a quick reference booklet that helps you get your machine going. It came with some pre-wound bobbins with white thread, but I had to purchase a box of colored embroidery thread before I could even try the machine out, so including a spool of colored thread would be nice for the manufacturer to do. I did find the Brother instructional videos on the Brother web site after hunting through the web. I wish they would have included the videos on a CD or thumb drive, but the instructional videos themselves were very informative and well done. My regular Brother sewing machine did come with an instructional video. The machine has a 3.7” LCD touchscreen display and an advanced needle threading system that really helps. This machine is fun and easy to use once you get some practice. I am excited about this new hobby and know that I will enjoy using this machine for years.

I am so very happy with machine. It was a pit of a learning curve as I had never used an embroidery machine before. For instance, I found out the hard way that knit t'shirts need more than the dissolving plastic type stabilizer. That was totally operator error on my part. I really, really like and enjoy the Brother PE545, and I think you will to. The needle threader is a breeze. Isn't that nice to know, right? So if you are on the fence about this pretty little thing ( I mean, hey. It's pink), I would encourage you jump 9ff that fence and go get yourself a much deserved pleasure to work with. You won"t be sorry

Very Impressive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't machine embroidered anything in a very long time. The technological advancements are incredible. Accurate color touch screen displays, and being able to manipulate the image on the screen are wonderful. Plus it moves so fast! My very first attempt was with my husband's logo on a towel just for practice. It was pretty accurate. I definitely need some stabilizer on my next go-round. I was a bit disappointed that it didn't come with at least a small spool of embroidery thread. I would have loved to have played with it when I unboxed it and it took a trip to several different stores to find the right kind of thread. But now that I have it, I'm thinking up things to embroider on. I know with a little practice I should be able to make some beautiful creations.
