[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE POINT DREAD and TALON FIGHTER is seriously cool for any fan of the show or collector. The RETRO box gets major points from anyone who grew up watching this show…they will most likely want to KEEP the box! It’s presentation is that awesome. If giving this to a younger child, who is new to watching the show, be prepared for the box to have them expecting figures INCLUDED in the box. They might be disappointed to find that there are none… so be forewarned…there are NO character figures included. This is important from a child gift-giving stand point. The toy itself is extremely detailed, and the directions are easy to follow. The Talon Fighter comes unassembled and does require snapping pieces together. Some were a bit of a challenge for my kids to snap in, but they eventually had it together themselves. My kids have only seen the show a few times, but were very impressed by the details on the fighter such as the top opening up, the blue radar dish and outpost cannon that can easily be swapped on and off the top of the Talon Fighter.

Talon fighter on Point Dread

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I grew up in the 80's with Masters of the Universe toys. I got my son interested at first with the Filmation cartoon. It was very easy to assemble with snapping parts. We both like that it can hold two figures. The art on the package is absolutely beautiful. I like how durable and easy to use it is. Now I need to purchase Castle Greyskull so we can attach it on top.

Cool MOTU playset!

He is very excited and eager to play with the set as soon as he comes home from a long vacation with his mother. The playset is something he will use with the other Master of the Universe sets he currently plays with.

Overall good toy but could use some tweaks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Masters of the Universe™ Origins Point Dread and Talon Fighter is overall a fun toy. It is a little disappointing to get this toy if you don't have an action figure to play with it. My son enjoyed playing with the Talon Fighter even without an action figure but definitely is meant to be used with an action figure especially Point Dread and use of the radar or cannon. The assembly instructions are not the best as it doesn't look to be complete upon initially trying to complete the assembly. You have to keep reading through #2 To Play sections. My opinion just tell me how to assemble and I'll give to my child to play how they want to. Also, the wings of the Talon Fighter do not attach easily and take some finagling. The stand for the Talon Fighter on Point Dread is something to be desired and does not disengage well. Almost always pulls off of the top of Point Dread.

Versatile play set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set can be utilized so many wonderful ways. I gave this to an 11 yr old child who just loved this. They are a collector and usually keeps them in box forum. However this set he is going to us to display his figures that are out of box. The vintage similar sets are very expensive and this is a great way to get almost the same effect. Children can enjoy many scenarios using the props. This child was very happy. Had to leave before I saw the final display but he will send me photos.

Fun toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son really liked this toy and all its features, we didnt have the toy it we t eith bht he substituted it for a different one. He played for a few hours with it, liked assembling and disassembling it hoing back and fourth between the two ways you can construct it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely didn’t expect it to be a nice size! Very cool toy, easy to assemble, and kept my son’s interest for a very long time. Such a versatile toy that can be played with in many ways. It was a big hit in our home for sure.
