Perfect size sandbox

After 2 straight weeks of thunderstorms, we finally got to set this up. My daughter LOVES it! We used 9-50lb bags of sand to fill it. This provides enough sand to play, but also leaves enough room that we can leave her sand toys inside once the lid is closed. I love that it closes completely to keep out animals. The size is perfect for our yard and the cedar wood is awesome! My daughter really likes having benches on each side. The only con was that none of the pieces were labeled. The directions referenced "part A" etc but none of the pieces had letter stickers. This made the assembly process a bit of trial and error. But once we figured it out, it was quick going. We had it assembled in about an hour. I would DEFINITELY recommend this sandbox! The design really is perfect!

I’ve had this product for less than 1 month (didn’t assemble it until a week passed and just got back from a 1.5 week vacation.) We have a 3 year old who weighs 35 pounds, but both doors have snapped off. Product is junk. Will contact BCP first thing in the morning to see if they will send me new doors.

Great sandbox for 2 year old

The sandbox is great for my 2.5 year old. The benches fit my kiddo but also can comfortably fit an adult. It took about eight 50lb bags to fill the box.

What a cute little sandbox.
This box is great for 2 maybe 3 small kids but not for larger kids. The space for kids to sit is not very big.
The box opens easily and offers children little seats to sit on.
The box was easy to put together and seems like it will hold up if the kids are gentle with it.
The cedar will help keep the bugs and animals at bay and smells terrific.

This sandbox is exactly what I was searching for. It's plenty big enough and I love that it has benches that close shut. There are some gaps when the doors close, but I didn't find that to be a big deal. You should know going in that this isn't made out of the highest quality wood. That's a big reason why it's priced so well! The second day after having it in our backyard, my daughter drew all over it with chalk. I was completely okay with that because I didn't spend a ton of money on it. All in all, I doubt this is going to last forever, but the amount of time that it has already kept my girls occupied outside, it has been worth the cost tenfold!

I got this sandbox for my daughters who are 2 and 4. They absolutely love it and will spend hours playing in it. I love the seat options for them or myself! When we are all done we close it shut! A really great sandbox, we highly recommend it!
