The sandbox lid would not align as shown. There is about a 2 inch crack down the middle. One half of the lid was cut crooked and would not meet.

It looks nice. The color is pretty and finish is smooth. Wooden pieces are not marked/numbered which would have made an easy assembly, easier one. It was a gift to my friend's toddlers and they loved it. It's pretty good size for two toddlers and will definitely fit two more.

Not sturdy

I had this box for less than a week for my grandson and one of the lid boards split and the screws came out of the hinge. It is not fixable, so I have wasted my money both purchasing it and having it assembled. I would like my money refunded.

Easy to put together.
Looked very nice after put together.
Broken within two weeks. My child is barely a year, it wasn’t the child, the wood is thin and split. Very disappointed. I am going to contact company. Will update my review accordingly.

Assembling the sandbox was a bit more time-consuming than I anticipated but I'm mostly happy with it. My son kept saying the instructions weren't specific enough and I thought they were ok, until we got to the point of closing the top. It was then that we realized that we had attached the top pieces 90 degrees from the direction they should have been placed. It would have been extremely helpful to have included a **** warning or something in the instructions at the point where the first top piece is to be placed, to indicate that the base box is not a perfect square and the choice of which sides to attach the tops to does matter., As it is we have about a 2 cm gap in the top. It's not worth taking out 20+ screws and doing it over again to fix the gap. It would have been nice to know as we were assembling it.

Definitely not cedar

My husband put this together and it's definitely not cedar. We speayed it with a polyurethane coat to protect it from the weather. We haven't put it out to play yet, but I'm hoping the gap people are talking about doesnt cause any issues with rain.
