Your browser does not support HTML5 video. ?These lights are amazing! Easy to jjj, great immersive experience for movies, games, music, and the most amazing thing is the price! I wanted the Phillips Hue lights but they're way expensive, and the govee brand offers almost the same quality. You need to have this for your TV, you won't regret it!

I bought this kit because it represents good value for money, and avoids potential problems with input latency and the HDMI 2.1 compatibility of the Phillips Hue reactive lighting sets. I also liked the fact that this gives you lights along the bottom of the screen, and features individually colored LEDs.My only issue was that the strip that is placed along the sides was a bit too long for my 55 inch Samsung Q80T, and I have to perform a few careful folds and tucks to keep it looking nice. I believe that it is possible to cut the LEDs shorter, but felt that would open a whole other can of worms, and the way that the strips are connected looked too solid to confidently modify them.After some tweaking of the color depth and brightness, I came to a good balance, where it looked great , was as close as possible to accurate and didn't overwhelm the image. I ran through a number of Hue/Ambient-lighting demos, and they were breathtaking. I also watched TV and gaming footage, and it was very good, but occasionally a little jarring when colors changed.The only problem I had was when I was trying all the music modes, there was that is third in the row of modes, causes two sides to flicker as if they are faulty. When I first installed the unit it was in this mode, so I thought I would have problems until I linked the App and changed it. However, everything else works fine, and this doesn't look like a mode I would use in any case.Lastly, the App is well structured and easy to use. I wish that it could support a few scene modes, where I could save my hue and brightness settings and restore them quickly, but in the absence of that I can simply learn my preferred values, or screenshot them.Overall this is a very impressive product. I am extremely happy with it. It delivers as close to my mental image of what Ambient lighting should be as any product that I have seen demonstrated. Its colors are rich and vibrant, and accurate enough for my eyes after tuning. I will definitely keep an eye on Govee's future development with interest, and feel that the good value of this product means that I don't feel fear of missing out on the next best thing in the immersion lighting space, as I would have had I bought the Phillips set.
