A friend of mine purchased these after a review on youtube and showed me a video of his in action. I purchased mine immediately after. Shipping was fast, and installation was easy enough. The lights are super responsive to whatever you're watching or playing, and really immerse you. I watched pro wrestling on it the first night and was blown away. the controls are simple and there's robust customization with the app, and the part my wife loves is how it syncs with music magnificently. There's also button control on the connection box if you don't want to rely on the app. I've recommended them to everyone I've spoken to.

It Will really quick start running into problems. Color never matches

The lite version 3 suppose to work with tvs with thin screens, it never did. The colors worked well for only a week and then started running into the color problems, it never matched what's you see in the screen. Started to change colors very slow and couldn't keep up with what you see in the screen. End up regretting my purchase.

Had to pop over to a friend's house to borrow a tool. He and his wife were in the middle of watching a movie and I was mesmerized by his entertainment set up. Showed me the Govee backlight and it makes movies and everything so much better! Definitely recommend and 5 stars!!!

Just Go Towards The Lights

I cannot say anything bad about these lights ? Setup was simple and straightforward. I didn't know I could wirelessly connect these to my pre-existing lights from the same company. I have those lights on the back of a TV. These light connect to the same app and with some learning, I hooked it all up to google voice. Now my office desk has lighting. I have a RGB keyboard and mouse that I'll be hooking up later. This is worth the money if your looking for lights that can be operated via the phone because you get endless settings and options!

Just horrible

It will not color match and after days of trying to set it up it would never set up properly. The side lights will not light up and it will constantly unsynch itself. I was excited about this product, but it was a waste of money and a huge disappointment

Great experience for the price

I wish I would have done this sooner. Installation is fairly easy if you pay attention to diagrams and follow the instructions. Govee app is fairly intuitive and easy to use.
A slightly better explanation of the differences between "Part" and "All" on the settings would likely help some customers. Part means that the colors on the screen are displayed by the LEDs closest to the side. All means that all LEDs display the same color based on what is in the screen. Part tracks colors across the screen. All just displays one color.
I would recommend this to a friend!
