These lights are fantastic. They definitely make the TV watching experience more immersive and I think it's easier on the eyes now. They're not too difficult to set up and you can put the camera on the bottom of the TV if you prefer. Mine had to go on the bottom as the TV is too thin at the top to give me any space to stick the camera.
The one thing I'd list as a drawback is that they seem to have a tendency to compute a scene in shades of red, when there's really nothing on the screen that's red. I run the test videos from Youtube and they look fantastic, with the colors matching very well all around the TV. With some shows, though, that red-dominant situation happens. I can't explain it.

Good But....

The lights are great. They're bright, ok color selection on the app, and the scenes are fun to have. However, the camera to TV LED casting is meh. The colors don't mach up the best but it's alright, just a little under-welming. My biggest issue with the lights was the setup. I have a 50" TV and the lights seem like they are ment for AT LEAST a 55" TV. This was not clearly I indicated on the website nore was their an option to get a smaller size. I would not recommend getting these strips unless you have AT LEAST a 55" TV.

Here are some tips which may help you:
1.Please make sure that the calibration was correct.
2.Please unplug the adapter and re-plug it again 10 mins later.
3.Please reset the controller box: clicking the middle button for 4 times while holding the power button.
4.Please choose 'Part' under movie mode.
5.Please try to lower the saturation of the TV.

Lights are awesome

Love the lights completely changed the way i watch tv and movies!!!!!! I have a 77in tv and it still worked i dont know if the size matters but maybe govee can come out with a light kit for tvs up to 85in

I used to get headaches watching tv in the dark, but since installing these, I haven't had any. It took some tinkering with the controls to get the colors fairly accurate, but Im satisfied with that. Blues are blue reds are red etc. I even get the greens pretty good. (I know people have had issues with green). The one I don't understand is black, the govee shows white? In low light shots the white light makes it harder to see whats going on on the screen. Its not blinding white light or anything, but the contrast between the white and dark screen makes it difficult to make out details. In my opinion if the screen section is black then govee should shut off the lights in that section. Maybe include a switch in the settings so we can decide which we like.
