Above expectations!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. ?Govee backlighting is a must for movie night.colors are almost spot on light, light movement is amazing. The downside to it is if they have to much colors it tends to match the brightest. Can't wait for the next gen to come out... definitely upgrading!

The adhesive looks like it's a lot stronger than other light strip. Holding up pretty good right now. Looks amazing, I can see in day light but really blows my socks off at night. Worth every cent.

Worth every penny

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. ?First think installation is easy. Clean the back of your tv with rubbing alcohol and allow to dry before applying lights. The 3m strip on the back of the lights seemed to have lost stickiness out of the box. But a hair dryer on warm setting worked perfectly to resolve that. I have a 60" tv and lights could get as close to the edge as I want. For the orange squares during calibration use painters tape vs the 3m sticky on the back as it is too strong to put on a TV screen. During darker movies or grayish movies the camera seems to mistake the black or grey for blue and cast a blue light on the back wall. But I feel I resolved this by recalibration and using a lower brightness and lower saturation. It seems the ideal brightness for me is between 20-30 and saturation between 25-40. Again I am very pleased with how this turned out even with minor quirks.

Cool but not great

I really like the ambiance that the back lights add, but am honestly disappointed in the color match against the screen. Setup was easy, but I found that mounting the camera as recommended directly on my TV resulted in colors not matching very well in various areas of the screen. I raised the camera another inch above the top of my TV, and it helped with this problem some. I would like to see some improvements to the overall system before I would buy again.

For just the backlighting - I use blue on bottom to match my stand lighting and Video for Games or movie watching. The service is Great!! I had a problem calibration, But all is Well!! I'm going to buy another one for the Bedroom.I had to tilt my camera slightly to adjust and put the Orange Calibration on the screen edge. Brand new TV.. Plus the Vivid vs Standard or Picture settings will change how it works.
