Great Substitute for Toaster

We have owned both toaster and toaster oven. Our toaster was not large enough to fit the large-sized slices of bread we like. It did not toast evenly, and it was slow to finish the task. We previously had a toaster oven. It did toast fairly well, as well as performing other small cooking tasks, thereby saving money.
Tired of our unreliable toaster, we purchased this toaster oven after reading reviews from a variety of sources. We ordered this one.
This unit has a nice, small footprint on the counter, taking the same amount of space as out large-slice toaster. We have toasted bread and bagels, and the results were great. Perfect level of toasting. Twice as fast at the task as our toaster.
The interior lights up brightly when on, so the items being cooked can be watched. We are very happy with the performance of this Panasonic toaster oven. I cannot speak to its long-term performance, but I hope it keeps performing at this high level.

Love the simplicity!

We are 2 seniors and this little toaster oven is wonderful for us. Simple to use and the pre sets make it foolproof…never used our old toaster oven very much…this one gets used daily. Everything we make in it comes out perfect! No pre- heating so it’s very fast. No regrets with this little oven….it’s fun to use and easy to clean. Thank you Panasonic!

Love it. Perfect for our small kitchenette counter space. This little gem does it all. Toasts, broils, bakes, warms up, etc., etc.

Panasonic Toaster Oven

I am very happy with this toaster oven. It is a nice compact size and looks good on my counter. I only use it for making toast and reheating food, but am very happy with these functions. I may try a frozen pizza as there is a set function for this and I can never get it right when I use my oven. The quick reheat function is handy and it is very easy to select preferences for toast. The crumb tray is easy to slide out and put back in. I have a Panasonic microwave that I have been very happy with so thought the toaster oven would probably be a good product as well.

makes toast in 30 secs, roll reheat ends up saving me from charred flat breads , rotis from reheat, I’ve baked 12 inch pizzas , sheppard’s pies , roasted chicken , hotdogs ,pattie’s, waffles , this oven has not once dissatisfied me. I paid 95$ back in 2017 now it’s costing over 200$ plus taxes. definitely place tinfoil on the crumb tray,
I have a technical background this definitely will be found in my elaborate kitchen and my smaller studio flats.

Excellent at making toast and for reheating

I really like this product a lot but my larger toaster oven cooks much more evenly and deeper for "thicker" / "deeper" for the "first" cooking of most dishes that require slower cooking.

In our house, we actually joke about how the Flash Xpress makes our days percentage points better. I was a bit hesitant to purchase because it is definitely not modern-looking, nor is it conventional in function, but I am so glad I trusted positive reviews of it. The ceramic heating mechanism is incredible — toast is toasted evenly & quickly, and the oven function is amazing: no preheating, even cooking, times well with expected cook times. There is a short learning curve, almost like with induction cooking, before we fully got the hang of it. It looks quirky, and it is the best toaster oven we’ve ever owned. It’s almost like having a pet — it’s part of the family now. By far our favourite appliance in our kitchen!

Best Ever

We bought this exact same oven six or seven years ago and it has been used daily for warming, toasting, cooking... you name it. Yes, I had to get a few casserole dishes, etc. that fit the small size, but after that, it gets used far more than our large one. Even with twelve people for dinner, it comes in handy for extra veggies, maybe heating dessert or whatever. I honestly can't think of all of the occasions I use it. After hundreds (maybe thousands) of days use, our old one finally had a problem with the on/off button (elements still fine). Not really worth trying to fix, so we got the exact same model and so far it's great as always. Toast nuts, toast bread, heat leftovers, bake potatoes, bake quiche, roast veggies... and while you're cooking, you can heat your dinner plates on the top! Takes a small footprint of counter space to boot!
