The case is garbage.

Charging case is total crap. I can wear the ear buds for an hour slap them back in the case and once charged to 100 percent case now reads it's only 50 percent charged. I don't even use the touch screen cause it just drains the battery even more. I can charge everything to 100 percent and take them with me and go to put them in and the case has drained to 80 percent with not even using them. To say you can get 40 hours out of the case is a lie. Used my buds on and off for about 4 to hours the other day and by the time I went to bed the case was down to 7 percent. I'm assuming this might be a malfunction with the case or are other people experiencing the same thing! I wanna keep them cause they sound amazing, stay in my ear, and love the customized app, but because of the case I will be returning them.

We're glad to hear you enjoy the earbuds and app. It sounds like you may be experiencing a malfunction with the charging case. We recommend performing a factory reset on your JBL Live Buds 3 by tapping twice on either the left or right earbud, then tapping a third time and holding for 5 seconds. If the issue persists afterward, returning the product is certainly an option. For further assistance, please contact us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the livebuds 3 on my recent vacation and on a run already and can say they absolutely fit in my ears perfectly. I dont have to worry about them falling out. Very easy to connect to your phone and love all the settings that are available on the case itself especially the option to pause or skip a song, change the volume, and find my buds.

Great but a little bulky for earbuds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used these earbuds for approximately 3 days so far and I can honestly say I like these more than other earbuds I’ve used, one thing I like the most is how comfortable and how long they lasted compared to others, and how well they stayed in my ear which is surprising because other earbuds usually come out after some moving around so I love that. I used the buds for about 4 hours strait and still had 70 percent battery on the buds which is great. The two things I can say that I don’t like is how big the charging case is compared to others and how the screen on the case drains the battery of the case but that’s something I can get past with how long the battery last. All in all a great pair of earbuds.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Live Buds 3 are great!!

These earbuds have a nice sound that goes with the sound having a near perfect balance. The case provides a near phone free 3xperience and allows customization.

heavier than expected but great sound and ANC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I love the minimal packaging the buds came in. And i just noticed that the charging case itself is able to be charged wirelessly...so cool!
My use case for ear buds is mainly for conference calls and listening to podcasts. That said, I was very surprised at the 'spatial audio' feature when I was on a Microsoft Teams call with work colleagues. I could easily tell he was working from a small space in his bare/echoey cubicle. Please note these buds are NOT Microsoft Teams certified (wish they were) - therefore one has to deal with a potential double mute situation (muting buds does not enact the mute in Teams).
I found the buds to be fairly comfortable though a bit heavier than I imagined. When listening to my podcasts while doing chores, I did have to re-adjust my fit once (your ears may vary). I'll have the see how it does on my jogs around the neighborhood.
I was a bit irked this morning when I tried to start up my Pocketcast on my iphone, it started playing but audio wasn't coming through. It looks like it defaulted to my android pixel phone. I don't know if it's the bluetooth protocol but i was expecting it to start playing once some audio was going through one of the phones.
I played the podcast on my pixel and then made a phone call on the iphone. It correctly switched audio to the phone call and after a few seconds of hanging up, correctly resumed my podcast.
Some features are disabled when using just one ear bud (and appriopriately so). The tap controls are good and responsive. Flashlight feature is meh but i suppose better than nothing on a very dark night. Perhaps it's just me but I wish there was more gestures available on the touch screen as one has to scroll left/right a lot to get to some screens.
ANC was good for me but zoom conference attendees still could hear background chatter when I was sitting in a gelato shop.
The liveBuds3 is feature rich! I'll have to try the phone message notifications sometime as well as the different audio profiles - but again music isn't my main activity with these.
I was using a pair of JVC ear buds but this is easily going to replace it. The charging case feels heftier in the pocket than the JVC's - but perhaps it's time I invest in one of those hip cross-body bags :p.

Excellent little buds!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who doesn’t like most earbuds and the way they fit in my ear, I have come to love these ones.
Sound quality: as with all JBL headphones and most speakers I’ve used, the sound quality is excellent. The bass response is so huge and clear, it’s hard to believe these little buds can produce it. The noise cancellation is incredible. I used these on my riding lawn mower (super loud) for over an hour. I only needed the volume at 3/4 to completely drown out all mower sound and be left with pure music. The ambient noise mode also works well, I personally didn’t have much of a use for it. I believe it would be perfect for walking a dog on a busy road, bicycling, or hiking. Something where environmental sound is a safety factor.
Fit: these really fit great. I’m convinced my ears are not made for buds, but these have changed my mind. Initially I have to push them in firmly, but they stay completely in, and I have no issues with them falling out periodically like others I’ve tried.
Features: the touch controls on the buds are simple, and all you really need. Switch from noise cancellation to ambient sound on one bud, and pause/play on the other. I used the pause/play button many times, and never had issues. I also used the switch to ambient sound when I needed yo have a conversation with someone. The one feature I am not a huge fan of is the touch screen on the case. It mostly feels unnecessary to me. I’m sure some would like to have the functionality, but I lean more towards simplicity when it comes to earbuds. The screen itself was responsive and I encountered no issues, I just really didn't need to use it.
Overall: I would absolutely recommend these to anyone looking for some noise cancelling buds with excellent sound quality. I think they absolutely standup to the competition, and I’m happy to own them!

Great Ear Buds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried many ear buds and headphones. There always seem to be 1 or 2 things I wish I could change about them. I wouldn't change a thing about these. The biggest complaint I have with earbuds is that they fall out of my ears too easily or have to be constantly adjusted or hurt my ears. These live buds 3 stay in my ear while being comfortable over time. They are very comfortable.
One new feature that I have never seen before is a screen on the charging case. From here you can adjust almost all the settings with this case. No need for your phone the adjust settings. It even can act as a flashlight.
The sound is great and customizable with the equalizer settings.
I really love these Ear Buds!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Exceptional sound & Convenient advanced controls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Live Buds 3 offer convenient and easy control of their features and sound from the touchscreen on the charging case. This is especially convenient when using the earbuds on a device without the supporting JBL Headphones App such as a PC. I regularly use headphones on my PC for music and online meetings. Using the controls on the charging case makes it easy to adjust the volume and change the sound settings during meetings or change music tracks while working or relaxing.
The JBL headphones app gives you even more control and customization options to truly make the JBL Live Buds 3 your own. I like that the earbuds are lightweight and are surprisingly comfortable to wear for long durations. Initially I was a little worried about this style of headphone falling out but they stayed in place while walking or riding my bike.
The overall sound is well balanced on the top end with crystal clear highs and a ton of bass that gives music that solid deep JBL sound that I enjoy. I listen to extremely bass heavy music and love the clarity and depth of the low end. These headphones really shine on any music where bass essential yet all types of music sound great. The Spatial audio and ability to customize the equalizer to get the exact sound I want is one of my favorite features. The active noise cancellation works well and blocks out a substantial amount of outside noise. The noise cancelling ability of these headphones is not the best I have ever used but still way more than adequate in all the situations where I used them. I can enjoy my music at a reasonable level without needing to blast the volume to mask outside noises. The earbuds automatically blocked out wind noise on windy days and while riding my bike.
Battery life is exceptional. The earbuds charge quickly in their case and I never ran out of power while using them. Calls were clear and the people on the other end could hear me well. The Voice aware feature is a nice touch to customize the amount of my own voice I hear on the call.
Overall The JBL Live 300 earbuds offer an immersive sound experience and abundant features to meet the needs of a variety music types and usage scenarios. They are comfortable and easy to use while going strong all day long.
