It's better to hear you my dear...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Top notch ear buds. The first thing you notice is the quality packaging. It comes with extra ear cushions. These buds fit comfortably and snug in the ear. I feel safe they wont fall out. Getting to the case, the cover looks like a tiny tv screen, something different. Slide it for different screens with choices like volume, ambient sound, spatial, equalizer. It has a timer, brightness, wallpaper lock, voice aware, auto play and pause choice message preview, find my buds (mine are in my ears) and a flashlight!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Solid set of feature packed great sounding earbuds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These buds have a lot of usable features. They fit great in my ear. When I take one out the audio will pause until I hit play again or put the bud back in. This works well for me as I often take one earbud out to listen to someone talking to me. This way I don’t miss anything and have to go back on my music/podcast. The noise canceling is great for coffee shops or flight. It is some of the best I’ve used yet. The ambient aware is always helpful for when working out and running. I found the case to be a very helpful interface to make any adjustments to the buds instead of using an app. It works seamlessly. Plus, I just don’t feel like opening up another app if I don’t have to. There are the standard tap of the buds that are good for pausing or changing some minor settings. The wireless charging of the case works great with any pad type charger I have used. One of the most important features (to me anyways) is call quality. The call quality is great for car, around the house, or meetings. This is important when I can’t set up my mic for a meeting and want something to connect quick. This is my go-to set in general and certainly for calls. All of these feature would be meaningless unless the sounds is there. I found the sound to be great especially being able to change from vocal to bass to studio depending on what I am listening to. I enjoy good sound.

Top notch sound controlled by a feature rich case!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in need of new earbuds after losing my most recent pair. I saw the JBL Live Buds 3 with a touchscreen charging case and thought this could help streamline the functions of listening to my music while delivering great sound. I paired the earbuds to my phone without issue and from there I started swiping through the touchscreen. I was able to change tracks, adjust volume, select listening modes, eq settings even a flashlight mode plus always having charge levels showing for the case and individual earbuds is nice. Once I got my fit (different ear tip sizes are included) and setting dialed in, I was amazed by the sound quality. I tried several different genres of music as well as switching eq settings (because it’s quick and easy with the case!) and my expectations were definitely met! I have to give a special shout out to the bass in these little things as I was pleasantly surprised! The noise cancelling was great but not “airtight” which is how I prefer. The only negative I found would be the sensitivity of the earbud touch/tap control. I would normally be afraid of adjusting the earbuds in my ear in light of changing a setting or track but the good news is I can turn off the tap control assignment for each earbud and do it all from the charging case! I would recommend these earbuds for the traveler, casual user as well as fitness enthusiast with an IP55 water and dust resistant rating. These can also be charged wirelessly for convenience so don’t sleep on these!!

Quality product that I cannot take advantage of.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Live Buds are probably some of the coolest, most innovative ear buds I’ve used to date. The case, with its screen that allows you to change the song, change the background, and your audio experience, is a nice touch and sets these apart from other products on the market.
Upon first use, I ran into a common issue; my ears don’t particularly like ear buds with the rubber fitting. They don’t stay in my ears. Even with the smaller or larger adjustment, I cannot get them to stay in my ears for the life of me. I did have a little bit of luck and was able to experience the buds the way they were intended. I also used them at the gym, which was a bit of a challenge, but I had a little success. The sound quality was immaculate. The ability to do noise canceling and ambient sound is a huge plus, especially during my daily commute to work. Being able to cancel out the noise of the train is very nice.
The default setting for the buds was “Jazz” but I changed it to add more bass to my music, and they did not disappoint. The clarity of sound and the deep bass was very impressive. When I was able to keep the buds from popping out of my ear, they were comfortable and for those who like these types of buds, I’m sure they will prove themselves to also be comfortable.
I like the Live Buds but considering that I cannot keep them in my ears, makes them not the right fit for me. However, I know many people whose ears can accommodate buds like these, and I am certain they’d love them! Only giving 4 stars because I cannot use them, but the quality of the product is definitely top tier.

Won't connect to Garmin Watch

I just bought these to use with my Garmin watch to run with as I don't like to run with my phone and the watch has its own music and Bluetooth connection ability. I had no issue with my watch with my previous JBL vibe buds and those could not hold a charge for long and it was time for a new pair. I found these and thought they would be an upgrade as the sound quality is superior to my vibe buds. Unfortunately, these will not connect to my Garmin watch and when I called JBL for assistance they stated that these are really designed to connect to phones and computers. If that is the case, you need to advertise this way. really sad because the sound quality is great but without the connection to my Garmin watch I really have no use for these.

Amazing buds with convenient case features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the best sounding buds I've ever owned! The noise cancelling is amazing, and the equalizer makes quick music adjustments a breeze. The fit and comfort is perfect for my ears, easily wear them hours. An annoying downside is the sensitivity of quick touch function which I inadvertently triggered if I adjusted or removed the buds. The fisplay controls on the charge case are amazingly convenient and easy to use. I do wish that some of the settings were hidden, such as choosing a lock screen function, but since all the case functions are visible, its easy to utilize and customize. Overall, as I've stated, best buds I've ever owned.

Great earbuds for quality, nifty screen feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great noise cancelling earbuds. They fit me fine out of the box and I didn't feel a need to change the rubber tips to match my ears. I may go to a bigger size now that I've been wearing them for about a week and they occasionally feel loose. The first thing I noticed when trying them out is that sound quality is excellent and the noise cancelling works really well. With the hot summer we've been having I have the air conditioning and fans running all the time. The NC feature significantly reduced the background noise and helped me hear the podcasts I was playing quite well. I had to cycle through the equalizer settings a bit to figure out how to get the voices in the podcasts to sound great, but once I found that setting I stuck with it and it worked great.
The most unique feature of these earbuds is the screen on the case. At first I thought it would be gimmicky, but I actually love it. There are screens for volume, play/pause/skip, noise cancelling/ambient sound/talk thru, spatial sound, equalizer, timer, screen brightness, wallpaper, and a handful of others. The ones I find the most handy are NC/ambient sound so I can switch between them easy and volume. I really struggle to talk to my family when NC is on, so going to ambient aware or talk thru is critical when they talk to me. It's very easy to do that from the screen. The wallpaper is cool too because I can put a photo of my kids on there.
A downside to the earbuds is that several times over the week I've had them the settings have changed on me randomly when listening. For example, a couple times the NC has changed to ambient aware without me telling it too. I thought it might be because the screen activated in my pocket and took an input, but I'm not sure. It hasn't been happening the last couple of days, so that's a good thing.
Battery life so far has been great. I can listen off and on for a few days between charges without a problem. I haven't measured the time but I don't feel I need to if I can get multiple days out of it. Charging time doesn't take long, so it's very convenient.
Phone calls work well on these. I can hear everything well, and the people on the other end can hear me fine too. That's all that counts!
The touch controls on the ear bud work well and I haven't felt a need to customize the settings even though you can do that in the app pretty easily. I suppose my only complaint is that when switching between ambient aware and noise cancelling the voice that announces it's making the switch talks over my podcasts and I miss stuff. That's a bummer. But so long as I remember to pause first, it works great and is super easy.
Even though I mostly listen to podcasts, I tried these out with several genres of music to see what the sound quality is like. I was very impressed by the sound quality. I tried several styles from classical to hard rock. I'm not an audiophile by any means, but I do enjoy music, and it was good.
I'd definitely recommend these headphones. Get them for the audio features, the comfort, and the sound quality, but enjoy the cool features like the screen as well. I think you'll like them.

The ear buds are very comfortable for long and short periods of time. The battery life is amazing. Sound quality is perfect. The touch screen on the case is a bit sensitive. All the options on the touch screen are great and useful!
