Great until it died.

I bought this in June. I wrote a glowing review in July. And it died on August 7. Not even the menu buttons work. No display. Make sure to keep the box and the styrofoam as it is being sent for repair. Maybe I got a lemon or maybe it has a serious problem?

The list of problems this monitor has is ridiculous and Asus charges 300 for it to get shipped to them to fix and if there is even a little scratch the write off the monitor and try to charge you 800 to fix it you’re better off getting the LG or Msi

Coming from a 1080P TN monitor to this was literally night and day. Everything seems so clear and vivid. Brightness is amazing for OLED

Best monitor I’ve owned

This has been by far the best monitor I have ever come across to date. Coming from a benq 240hz tn panel this is night and day difference. Oled is just superior in every way. Only negative I can think of is the hefty $1600 after taxes i paid. Otherwise it’s perfect for future proofing your setup for years to come.

Best monitor, low quality

Best monitor ever, but it’s really easy to burn, I have replaced once after using 2 months, manufacturer warranty is good but it costs me $200 to ship back to the factory, recommend to buy a protection,

Very nice monitor, short lived lifespan

Bought a relatively new monitor and was excited for its use as it was a massive upgrade from my older monitor. Upon first usage this monitor was stunning. The OLED screen had the colours popping and when playing games its was all around amazing. The issue I had with this monitor and what seems to be a reoccurring theme on Asus monitors is the quality and lifespan. Exactly a week after I got this monitor it had burn in. I know this is a common issue with OLED screens but not after a week and I didn’t even leave the monitor running or on at all. I reset the monitor and did everything to try to resolve this but the burn in was persistent. I had to return the monitor but from what I’ve seen with ASUS monitors and people I’ve known there’s quality issues all around from dead pixels to lines on their displays. I had hope in this model especially for the price range it’s in but was rather disappointed. Maybe my model was a one off defect but I hope to hear better reviews and quality increases in the future.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For 1440p, it is unrivaled. Colour is vibrant and the black is deep.
