I've tried other robot vacuums and wasn't impressed. I also recently found I had a lot less time for chores so I decided to try one more vacuum. I did a lot of research and decided on this one. I was kinda expecting that I would end up returning it, but I got a very pleasant surprise. This vacuum does what I expected a robot vacuum to do. Set up was easy, the app is easy and "Rocky" vacuums my house a couple of days a week, which is more than I did and does a much better job. I couldn't get under my bed or furniture but Rocky does, and the self emptying is awesome. It saves me time to do other things and time is scarce when you're working full time and don't want to spend your free time cleaning.

I am completely satisfied with the Roborock Q5+. This is my second robot vacuum, the first being a not-as-smart vacuum that approached cleaning in a haphazard and random format. The Q5+ is the complete opposite, with a super friendly app and LiDAR that makes it smart and accurate.
We have the base tucked in under a high cabinet and I was concerned that the vacuum wouldn't be able to navigate under the legs into the dock. It seemed to struggle at first, but it was learning the space. Now it always tucks itself in with no issues. Amazing! Great cleaning ability too - love it!

I just received this last week so I can't speak to longevity yet, but so far I love it! I did a ton of research and felt that this was my best option for the price point, and based on my experience with it so far I definitely think I made the right choice. I used to have an inexpensive, early-generation robot vacuum that would just randomly bump into things and had no sense of navigation. This thing is such an upgrade. The navigation and ease of use within the app are both excellent. And I've been happy with the cleaning power so far. For what it's worth I have a combination of hardwood floors and a couple low-pile/flatweave area rugs. I do not have it clean my shag area rug in my living room, because really no robot vacuum is suited to shag rugs. I do have two cats so I would never have it run if I wasn't home and sure that the floors were clear of any cat messes (such as hairball vomit), because it isn't designed to avoid those. Overall, for the price point I think this thing is best in class.

It does a very good job on all levels of my home, both hard floors and carpeting. Pretty quiet while it's working. You will find yourself removing all the extra on the floors that doesn't have to be there, and that really adds to the cleanliness look when the whole floor is swept. Less clutter and cleaner floors.

I researched long and hard for a robovac and settled on Roborock Q5plus. It's a perfect robovac for my needs. It was easy to set up and use. It does a good job of vacuuming. I have a large main level and it can clean it on 1 charge and does not need to empty the dirt chamber which is great compared to another robovac I used to have. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

The mapping is excellent and the vacuum does a great job at picking up dirt and debris. I wish it was a little more forceful in bumping things out of the way, but i guess the Lidar won't allow it. Overall I am much more satisfied with the Roborock than the Roomba. The Roborock is a much more refined machine.
