Great features, but gets scratched like crazy

We bought this luggage during our trip in Las Vegas. Overall, the quality is great and it has many cool features for a traveler. However, one unexpected drawback is that the outside gets scratched extremely easily. We bought the purple one and had one flight where we checked it. After a single use, the luggage seems like we have used it for 10 years. It is full of scratches with minimal use. We love Samsonite, however, we believe that more care should be given on details like that.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Don't buy the white ones. Their shell scuffed so easily.

I bought 4 of these in different sized. They were stylish but the surface were terribly designed. Don't have any resistance of wear and tear at all. The good part are they are light and can be expanded.
Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Easy To Identify, Good Capacity, Lightweight, Stylish
Cons: Easily showed intensive scrach, Poor Quality

It is not easy to move if you loaded all the heavy stuffs in. After first use, there are significant scratches on the surface and corners.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Poor Quality, Tears Easily, Weak Seams

Not durable at all!

I used this suitcase for the first time last week and it was scratched and scuffed much more than I think it should have been for a first-time use. I understand Samsonite is not responsible for the way baggage handlers treat the bags, but the bag should be durable enough to withstand normal wear and tear. I paid so much for this bag and have no idea how many more times I will be able to use it.
The bad thing is, I bought my mom the exact suitcase for Christmas and now that this happened to mine, she's scared to use hers.

But...i wanted a high quality zipper. I was surprised at the low quality.

First time use and already scratched

So frustrated that my brand new bag already has scratches on it after the first time using it. I purposely used it as a carryon so that it wouldn't get tossed around. My first flight had limited overhead space and had to valayed. That was all it took!

I bought two sizes of this Samsonite luggage in a very nice colour green. I have never owned matching luggage before. I felt pretty stylish in the airports! Rolling my nice green suitcases so easily on either side of me. Wasn't I clever to choose them?!
