Awesome TV Upgrade

My 10 year old LG UHD TV finally started to experience backlight problems. My LG was an edge lit panel and I wanted to replace it with a full direct lit panel this time. I also was not a fan of LG Web OS and also did not want a Tv with Google TV operating system. I ended up purchasing the Samsung QN85D mini led TV in 65 inches with the Tizen operating system and couldn't be happier. The Quantum Dot Nano Cell technology is amazing and it is without a doubt the best television that I have ever owned. I plan on adding a Samsung sound bar in the near future to take advantage of the Samsung Q-Symphony sound system.

Paramount Plus probably

I purchased a 85 inch Samsung big screen tv before thanksgiving 2024,I like the tv but it definitely has a problem that I’m not happy with and we have narrowed it down to the tv itself. I subscribed to Paramount Plus and sometimes it loads and plays but it doesn’t load a lot of time so I have to unplug it and hold the off button for three minutes then plug it back in and hold the on/off button on the remote for two hours to get to play., and it might play all day but the next time I try to get back on Paramount plus it tries to load after the advertisement hits 0 minutes it spins for about two minutes then throws up a 3005 error and after that you have to unplug it and start the whole procedure all over again. My Daughter thinks that tv doesn’t have enough ram to handle the Paramount plus app.for some reason.
It loads up Paramount plus but when it goes to a show
Like, Landman , it throws the error 3005 when the commercial clocks out

Thank you for sharing details of your experience with the Paramount+ app. We suggest you try the following:

1. Use 5G Wi-Fi if possible
2. Try wired LAN if available
3. Try repositioning the router so there are no obstacles between your TV and the router

Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

You may want to enable automatic updates for conveniences.
Go to Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.

Additionally, to optimize the TV’s performance, please also try running Device Care, which improves your apps performance by freeing up unused cached memory and closes background apps. Go to: Settings > Support > Open e-Manual, then select Device Care.

Fantastic

It is a fantastic TV. Replaced our aging Q60R with this NeoQLED, and wow what a difference. I paired it with a Q600C soundbar in Q Sympony mode, and it sounds fantastic. Great picture, inky blacks, you can't go wrong with this set.

Samsungs Neo QLED 85" the best

Well I guess I'm one of the lucky ones, I have 2 TVs, 3 smart phones, and 2 ear buds from Samsung, and had never had a problem. I have had my Samsung Neo QLED 85" now for 3 weeks and I couldn't be happier with it. It took a while to get used to the settings and hooking it up with my Amazon cube. Samsung has been really good for me. I'm ready to get another TV for my home. I'm very satisfied with Samsung products, keep up the good work Samsung.

Incomparable TV

Perfect television. It's the most wonderful tv we've ever purchased. When watching the television, one has to be reminded the characters on the TV are NOT in one's living room. The clarity is REAL.

To complicated, but a great great picture quality

Far too complicated, did not require all the different options, I only required a TV with HDMI for a cable box and another HDMI for the DVD player. Would have been nice if there was an easy way to dump all the crap I did not need!

Good - Not Great

Not as good as I hoped it would be. My 12 yo Samsung UN55F8000 has a better picture. I find it best to turn off Intelligent Mode, allowing more control over the picture. The colors are over-saturated at times, making for a less than realistic picture. Too much tech...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the picture quality of your QNX1D TV. To ensure you’ve got the latest image quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.

If the picture you’re seeing is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.

Go to Home > left direction button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
...and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments
2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments
3. Eco: Provided to save energy
4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room
5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

You can also fine-tune your picture with expert settings such as brightness, contrast, sharpness and more (All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings).
