Looking forward to using for my canning kettle next year. 72 with broken back lifting heavy canning jars out of kettle on stove is too hard on my back. Will put ths on the floor for easy lifting and access.

While making fudge on my glass top stove, i turned my back for just one second and the boiling sugar over flowed pitting my favorite glass top burner. I can still use my stove top , just not that burner. I ordered the Cuisinart single burner to replace the stove burner I can't use and it works fabulous. I would recommend for anyone.

The burner sis sufficient enough to boil water, but as far as the lower settings it overheats. I have had many things boil over on the lower number settings..
The cast iron plate gets red too which I think is another malfunction. These burners do not last that long.
