Great for frying something outside. Heats up quickly. Beware when turning temp to high when heating something, like oil. Once it hits the high heat, it will take a while to cool down. Better off heating at a steady med high.

This burner gets hot but it takes awhile. To get a 2 1/2 qt of water to boil takes about 10 minutes.
