I used this burner with my pressure canner. I have a glass top stove and pressure canning is not recommended. It worked well and is a nice portable way to have a stove on the go.

Bought this while looking for new cook-top ..works great for the price...wish could buy bigger burner for deep frying. Instruction say to not use pot with bottom bigger than burner :(

I bought this product a month ago, and I am love it. It makes a lot of cooking much easier with even more control than I have when I use my electric range. Ideal for simmering large pots of minestrone or your favorite soup. The Cuisinart burner definitely handles the challenge of my 23-lb. enameled cast iron Dutch oven and is perfect for braising short ribs or a large pork shoulder roast.Just pop it in the oven to roast then. Recently I made Korean style spare ribs using my Cuisinart burner, and finished them in the oven. OMG, so delicious!
