Works well use it all the time. Have recommended this burner to friends at the office. I don't understand why the company is discontinuing this products and wish they would reconsider and continue making it.

I am very happy with my Cuisinart hot plate, it works fine as a extra burner. My experience with hot plates is that the heat level fluctuates during the cooking, the same can be said with this Cuisinart hot plate. Has a very clean look and works well would recommend to friends.

I bought it because a (new) cast-aluminum pressure canner I bought does not work on our new induction stove (unexpected purchase). I appreciate the solid construction of the countertop unit, and the cooking performance is actually better than the old glasstop non-induction electric range (the one that failed).
