It's a feel good, hefty and aesthetic single burner stove! The initial smoky smell was gone after running it for a few minutes. I simply like how good the stove is to make anything from breakfast omelette, boiling water or full fledged dinner veg or non-veg curries etc with very good independently adjustable thermostat (turning knob from 1 through 5). Very satisfied with build-quality and the performance.

This is the second purchase of the Cuisinart single burner. This is a must have for me since I can use it virtually all the time. We travel alot in our motorhome and at times a single burner is all we need and can save our LP for other uses when we "boondock". The cast iron burner is easy to clean and the heat is accurate. The burner is built extremely well and is heavy so I am sure it will outlast me.

I use this burner daily. I have an induction cook top and half my pots and pans are not compatible. I'm very fond of my existing cookware and this burner allows me to continue using them and saving me the extra expense of replacing my perfectly good set.

It has worked well for what I needed it for, an additional portable burner. It does soups and sauces well, but doesn’t compare to gas burners for sauté and sear. Overall, it’s great for heating liquid foods up. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again knowing what I wanted to cook.
