Very disappointed that this product came needing full assembly. I would never have purchased it. There should be an unmissable warning. 3 hours!

Great product for the price

I love this and wish I had bought it sooner. As mentioned, the instructions are almost worthless. They are clearly written by someone trying to translate to our language. It provides great shade and looks awesome. It tolerates light breezes but I wouldn't leave it up in strong winds. It is super easy to extend but retracting is more of a work out. I love it so much, I'm getting one for my other sliding door.

Great price. Seems sturdy enough. I added tie downs on the 2 outside corners when open as it is very windy here and the awning moved up and down quit a bit. As to the other reviews... If you can't figure out what the funny worded instructions really mean then you should not be assembling anything by yourself.

Instructions were not the best but great product for the price. I use it nearly every day and easy to put out and in. Do not leave it out in rain as water will gather and water is heavy. Very good product all and all.

Good for the money

Lots of shade and sturdy. Quite happy with these awnings. Quite a bit lower in price than most of the same size manual awnings available. I found pulling on the awning fabric (into each section) BEFORE joining pieces was easier for me. The small flexible plastic snake insert goes into the roller end of the awning... The large snakes go into the extension bar...

Beautiful outdoor awning

This wasn't the easiest to put together, but not difficult at all. It also didn't help that I was probably having an off day. All of the parts seem appropriate for the size of the awning, being able to withstand the strongest winds and storms that we will have in this area. The overall unit is heavy for its size, which is showing that it was not deigned to be flimsy. The size fits well for the side of our house, providing a small place to be outside while its too shiny or rainy.
