Bought this for ony puzzle table. No matter what setting it caused a glare and made my eyes tired. Gave to husband for his office. He liked it but barely lasted two years before quit working. Bulb not replaceable. Waste of money. Love Ott lites but stick to ones with replaceable bulbs. I have had 3 others that have lasted for years and love them

I have purchased several other products of which I am more than just satisfied. This review is meant as a word of caution regarding your anticipated workspace size. My particular office desk size, depth front to back, made the field of vision/work out of use when clamped from the center back. The lamp is not flexible or usable when clamped on the side. I will purchase a non clamping desk lamp to meet my need.

Loved this lamp more than I thought I would. I have a small secretary desk with no room for a lamp base and tucked in a dark corner of my living room. I guessed, accurately as it turned out, that this lamp would be the perfect fit for the application I needed. I love the broad spray of light that this lamp affords. I love the controls and the three types of light. I loved this lamp so much I might get another.

The Ott Lite "clamp" lamp is working wonderfully for me as a music stand lamp. There are no other music stand lights available that have the illumination power (brightness), adjustable lumens, and color temperature options as this light. I am extremely pleased with the way in which it lights up sheet music on the music stand and the surrounding area as I practice guitar playing. Ott Lite does not advertise this lamp as a music stand lamp but with a little ingenuity in clamping it in place it makes the best music stand lamp you can possibly buy.
